I purchased a new “tool set” this week. I bought these from Vevor. While I’m no fan of there shipping process, their prices were competitive and the product works as expected. I also purchased the dolly storage rack. I haven’t used it yet, but it seems pretty straight forward.

Looks like a GoJak knock-off. We use real GoJaks at the museum.

Of course they get used A LOT in our environment.

Let us know how you like those Michael. Pretty sure I'm going to need a set very soon.
Greg, I would recommend them. I moved the 56’ (which now has an engine and transmission installed) in about 15 minutes, by myself, with a low amount of exertion.

BTW these are a ratcheting type vs the hydraulic and they were $481.00 shipped.

I just bought a set of those for my new lift also, but went with the hf Daytona ones. They work very well.

I have a set of HF Daytona as well. They work well for the amount I use them. The GoJaks are probably much nicer, but I'm not sure I'd use them enough to make up the difference in price.

I love these @Michael B … I have asked a few members here about them but the usual low cost ones just don’t perform well so I have avoided them…knowing that YOU approve, I am going to try these 👍

A milestone for the GMC build today. I have the brake booster in place finally.

Thanks for posting, just ordered a set with the rack. Tried different type in the past and they were worthless. That VEVOR site could be dangerous on the wallet!

That site could be very dangerous. I have heard their items are less expensive through Amazon.

I have heard their items are less expensive through Amazon.
I've also heard that if you have any issues or have to return an item it is much easier through Amazon than directly.

Sunday I laid out my steering setup to see what I’m going to need to get everything connected.

So today was a bucket list check off day. I had the opportunity to visit the Land Cruiser Heritage museum and talk with @cruiserdan and Jules. What a terrific place with wonderful hosts. It’s like visiting with friends!

Thanks Dan and Jules!! You two are the best.

Um, it was visiting with friends.

We came up with a business plan. Open a lounge called "The First Liar Doesn't Have a Chance ". :grinpimp:

Today I made a decision. I have decided to install an LT1 in the 68’ to replace the ailing 327. I have enjoyed the 327 but with a bit over 80k on the motor it’s about to need some major attention. And then it would still be 1968 technology that only gets 15 mpg. The LT1/4L60e along with the 3:08 geared rear differential should get me into the low 20’s.

More shenanigans to follow!
