Looks like you spent some time on Westside road going into High Rolls, NM. I grew up taking that road to Long Ridge to deer hunt the cliffs high above Alamogordo. White knuckle roads with snow and ice!
Yeah I was there looking for snow but it was mostly melted even though it never got out of the 20s that day.

Add this to the list of wild s*** I’ve never seen before. That rock in my wheel broke both caliper bolts. It took about 200 more miles before they snapped off

That's crazy.. but I can't tell, did it snap the caliper pins, or the bolts holding the bracket to the axle?

How did you not lose all break fluid?
The guy behind me saw it break off thankfully.

We removed it and clamped the hose and drove another 500+ miles off road.

You lose ABS and any traction control without it.

Check this s*** out.

Somewhere along the line the entire rotor came off the hat after I pulled the broken caliper off.

No idea how this could happen.

Holy crap!!!

It must have been the spacers! See, those things are evil!

(I'm totally kidding, of course)

Back in Arizona. Thanks @OGBeno for getting all of our trucks ready.

We left Sonoita Sunday. Headed across the reservation to Organ Pipe National Monument with a stop at the observatory

We got to Organ Pipe at 4. They told us the loop took 4-6 hours. We dove in. Took 1.5. We saw no one but a few border patrol trucks.

Beautiful country with a great up close view of the border wall

We made it to Wickenburg mostly via Off Road by 5, ate some burritos and eased up in the mountains for whiskey and sleep.

We are up now about to go get a DElux tour from @JackA of his backyard
