Sunday spent my morning exercising new grapple. This thing is a beast, weighs around 1700 pounds.

Cleared ground where I had used brush cutter and moved slabs of concrete from old cellar we tore up.

Buckets and forks are very useful attachments but there's nothing quite like a grapple. I don't use mine that often but it's nice to have when you need to pick up and move anything solid (trees, concrete, etc.). That's certainly the "industrial" model Jon; makes mine look a bit wimpy.

Nice! I rented a 4.5 ton hoe to clear some stumps for my garage this past weekend - the thumb on that was super handy, makes me think I should build something for my tractor - there are lots of DIY plans out there.

Those are sweet, I have used Mini ex with thumb and they are so useful.

In vintage tractor speak that is front wheel assist, very nice to have although on the vintage stuff it severely restricts the turning radius.

What a great HOT weekend!

Wife finally getting her house built and it’s starting to come together. I got excited to see the orange moon coming up Friday so ran out and stood in bedroom and living room to check out what our view will be like.

We designed house so I could watch sunrise and each morning. Something I loved when we had the old trailer.

Not too shabby!

Friday picked up new batwing. Compared to big one I use to have this thing was like little toy mower.

Works pretty darn good though!

Spending quality time with my brothers I grew up with. Down in Florida pretty sure I ruptured my Achilles playing in our fat man pickleball game this morning.

This after wife bought us special shirts

Praying it’s not completely ruptured but fear it is, major repair and long heal time.

Helped repair a fair number of those over the years. Listen to the surgeon when they give you post op plan. Slow, but complete healing is possible. Most of us health professionals fail to heed advice at times.

I’ll follow plan to the T!! I am fully aware of the long time heal for this type of injury, sometimes sucks knowing the course to heal this type of injury!

Told doc in clinic , I don’t need no stinking xray. I’ll get MRI when home. No med needed I’ve got beer to drink!!

Buddies taking good care of me and outside of golf, I’ll still slay the fish!!

Things are alright here.
We had to say good-bye to our little Chihuahua a couple of weeks ago.
I say she was the wife's dog, but she liked me pretty well and we spent a lot of time together. I did all of my Sunday morning MUD check-in with her by my side.

@greenbeast, Jon, hopefully it's not as bad as you assume.....but of course you're the doc so guessing it likely is. I tore/pulled whatever mine playing frisbee football with a bunch of young dudes in Saudi Arabia years ago. I only limped for a few days but that thing took more than 6 months to completely heal (or at least to quit hurting).
