Alright rust, enough already!

Looking good. I've never used one of these. How do they compare to using a pressure washer?

I bought it at HF for $8. It works great for misting fluids in tough to reach places, such as the interior of the roof.

My passenger window came off its track for the last time. I pulled the panel and found the window channel to be rotten/rusted.
I just happened to have 60 window laying around. The channel is similar, but not quite the same. My neighbor David was able to chop the 55 and 60 channels up, to make a replacement. I reused the rubber from the 60 channel, along with some windshield goop, to secure the glass. I then gently squeezed the channel against the glass. While I was in there, I also lubed up the regulator.

I'm happy to say, the window now works great.

Mel,

That's a handy neighbor to have. Window problems can be aggravating. I have them with my military trucks. Won't be long and you'll have it top shape.

Oh Man, that just ain't right.

Hope it's something small.

Yeah, I've driven cruisers for the last two decades, and never had to have one towed. I'm confident I could have got her going, but had to get back to the office before EOB. I pay a few xtra bucks a month to Verizon for roadside assistance, so getting it moved to my shop was a quick and easy temporary solution to my problem.

I don't blame HBB, her po installed a budget electric fuel pump, eliminating the mechanical one. I had contemplated converting it back for reliability, and this may be the perfect time. I've always had good luck with the oem mechanical set up.
