That looks great!
I have been trying to match up my front tint. I tried the Viper tint that supposedly matched but it didn't look good on my truck. So now I have a Suntek tint that is an ok match but I'm not there yet.

Your find might be just what I've been looking for.

Would you mind posting up some more pics of the tint?
The reflectivity looks really good from those pics. How is it at more of a slant angle and how does it look from the inside?
Thanks!

Thanks. Here are pictures from the outside, as well as one to show difference between windshield and front windows, and then front and back windows.

What kind of pricing is everyone finding? Here around the Houston area I have been quoted 900-1000 for all windows. How does this compare to what others are finding?

Shouldn't cost that much, I paid 600 and got quotes from others for about the same.

Tampa, Have you had any issues with your tint since installing? Visibility at night and glare? Do you notice the film on the windshield at all?

I'm thinking of getting the windshield and two front windows done on my 80.

No, it's really high quality stuff, no issues at all. For the windshield though, make sure you get a good place to install. The tint is pretty thick and the size/curve of our windshield makes the install tricky. I had mine redone due to a crease.

Sounds good, Thanks!

I'm sure there's a shop somewhere in the Bay Area that can do this right, just have to find them now.

Windshield would be great for the heat rejection here in Arizona, but...
I keep getting cracks from flying road debris and windshields replaced.
Might happen again next week, or 3 years from now.
How much do you think doing that tricky windshield job alone would cost?

very cool, I am guessing this would really help make the glare and heat while driving less? seems that it would add to the comfort of the interior.......
Yeah definitely dropped the heat and glare considerably. I don't even use my windshield visor (sun guard) much during the day anymore when I am at work.

I've wondered how difficult it is to DIY this tint. Has anyone done a DIY job with this 3M tint? I know you can get in on eBay, but I don't know what the install process entails. Since most of the windows on the 80 are flat(ish) it seems like it should be simple, especially if you removed the window.

If you have never messed with tint you will quickly realize like pole dancing this is not a job for an amateur. The good shops now have it computer cut and offer a lifetime warranty. I paid $200 to have wife's corolla done for Mother's Day so the Little Man wouldn't slow cook in the backseat (He faces out back window). She loves it and as cheap as she is she said, "Why don't use do this to all the cars?"

Windshield should be 150 or less...

Can I get this film online and if so .. how much I would need to buy for an 80 series ..?

If I can do that and bring to the local shop for the installation, I'll call it win ..

And on a related question is this one the best tint / film on the market .?

I'm looking for the best night / rain ( and sometimes combined both ) possible .. with the best UV block performance .. not really care about how it looks from the outside ..

I think it comes in rolls, so you will need a roll minimum. It is high quality - can't comment on if it's the best on the market. That constantly changes as new things come out...

I think it's done it's job and kept a pretty much factory look. I leave my phone in my car during the day when I am working and it's never shut off from overheating since I had it installed. Before I had it installed, it shut off all the time from heat. And that was before summer...
