Random Question. My 1979 FJ55 has grab handles above the passenger front door and above the drivers side rear door. Only in those two places. Anyone know if there are provisions for the other doors beneath the headliner?

I think there are provisions over all the door openings.

Agreed. I installed them over all four doors also.

Looked at mine today. Passenger and both rear; nothing over the Driver's side.
The holes are there under the headliner.
Thanks. Yes; I'm sure there is as well. I was just reporting what mine had installed; kinda lost track of the original question. FWIW my '84 4 Runner only came with the passenger side installed but had provisions for both as well.

wow, I’d say you’ve done a lot of work!
Check the classifieds, sometimes they show up.
I recall seeing someone saying theyre 3d printing them...
I just had a headliner put in so I have before and after pictures if you need them.
Did they pull the windshield and cargo glass or just work around them?
Good question. It would a royal PITA to try and install while leaving those in. It wouldn't be worth the effort of not pulling that glass...

thanks, i found the threaded holes so I think i can get it, but i'd love to see some pics. I was hoping someone would know if a handle from another (newer) series would fit so I could find some new handles. The old ones and any used handles are looking pretty hammered.
