Worked on some minor updates.

Taco mudflaps. Kept them high but should help with throwing rocks and mud a little. Covers the mud collector in the 4X4 LABS bumper.

Rising Sun member spotted this Speski Offroad's rear cargo barrier for a 100 on Craigslist. Picked it up for $175 bucks. Fit fine might just mod it a little to get it level. Thanks Tim

Now I need to fab up a storage shelf.

Since I deleted the rear handrails I move one to the driver's seat where US models don't get one. I was going to order one so this was a savings at $45 buck for the missing one. Sweet!!

That's a rare 100 Series no/AC model. I've only made a handful of those. I'm surprised it fit the 80. For anyone else looking at this, the standard 100 series with/AC model definitely will not fit an 80.

Good to know that I have a very rare model, want to trade it for a common 80 model. My wife is going to get a 100 so we can put in there if it will fit. Thanks for the heads up and you make a very nice solid piece.

LIke the cargo “fence”, but I’m not keen on bolting something to the headliner.

Not sure I understand. There was something already bolted there, the grab bars.

Ah, I missed that. I still need my back seats from time to time. However, when I stack the back with luggage it would be nice to have a barrier to keep things from coming forward.

My barriers mount using the existing captured nuts that hold the 3rd row grab handles. You can remove the barrier and return it to stock with no damage if you choose too. Click on he banner below to redirect you to my website.

That barrier will only fit a 100 without rear AC. Pretty rare but they are out there.

And you're in Durango! I have a house there, but my paycheck keeps me in Dallas. One of my LC's is always there waiting for me. Someday I can be there full time.

I knew I had seen you build before and should have checked MUD first, so this is a cross post from Overland Bound.

Comparing your original engine bay to your dual battery setup, what did you do to eliminate the silensor?

Your dual battery setup for reference:

Is it as easy as rerouting the No. 2 air hose from the air filter to the PAIR valve? I think the silensor's bracket is permanently attached to the air filter lid--did you just cut it?

Oh, and, 1) what's the siren thingie in the top right in the original picture? :grin:2) what's that installed in front of your ARB breather?

1. Removed and cut. Found rad hose at local store that was the size and shape I needed, cut to fit.

2. Alarm that was removed. ARB compressor.

Here is a updated pic of the front with the winch mount and I added some frame recovery points. The licence plate mount worked out perfectly and does not move even when blasting through rivers or water crossi

Sweet build, I like the frame recovery points you installed, what kind are they ?

OK big week for the rig. Dropped her off at Robbie's for motor swap. Here are some it pics of the swap so far. Also a big thanks to Onur for getting all the Toyota parts in so fast.

The old motor. It was still running strong just a few oil leaks.

Very excited to see how this goes. Curious about going uphill in the mountains.
