Trucks looking great man! Definitely jealous.

I wanted to go on the Holy Cross run today with Rising Sun but still waiting on my sliders. So bummed.

Yeah man I'm more or less in the same boat. With the size(width) I feel super vulnerable without sliders on the trails. I get along decently but there's a lot of those I hope I don't put the body on that rock kinda deal. One of these days I'll find the time to build a set.

Tangent, Saw youre trying to scoop up a twin 80 on rs..youre killing me haha but looking fwd to that build as well.

Added a second Fire extinguisher behind the rear driver. Now I need to order a wits end kit for under the driver seat.

What's the timing on the new motor? I'm curious for first reactions. Been talking to Robert about mine.

He has my rig the week of Oct 22nd I will try to get the exhaust done before that. Once the break in is complete I will get it on a dino if I can find one for a fair price.

Money is no object for the pioneer! We're looking to you to lead us to the promised land!

Finally upgraded my speakers. I tried the Pioneers and then the Polk DB but did not like the lower quality sound and lack of fullness. I end up installing Focal ISC series. I used a 5.25 in the front and a 6.5 in the rear. I disconnected the dash 2.5 and the trunk 2.5. I will replace the dash speakers and use them for my Ham radio later since I don't feel I will need them after listening to the Focal's. I did buy a 6.5 subwoofer but I am not sure I will use it now. I really love how they match the interior and look almost like a stock upgrade.

The install was pretty straightforward. in the front I made a 6"x 1/2" spacer to put under the door card to give the 5.25 a hard surface to mount to then I mounted it over the door card in the factory holes. In the rear I cut the sheet metal opening larger and made a 1/2 spacer the same size as the speaker cover and mounted the whole thing with sheet metal screws to the doors inner sheet metal..

I've got some Focal's, but they had one mid-range and a tweeter. Stock cover fit and the tweeters are in the dash. Not ideal maybe, but sounds good to me. It get's loud. What sub did you use?

I could of used the stock cover in the front but not in the back. The Focal ISC don't come with covers so I bought these one from a higher series. I really like that they matched the interior. I have not put the sub in yet and after driving yesterday I will be returning it. I love the way these things sound very full range. I listen to Classic Rock and they have plenty of bass for me.
