I cut the transmission tunnel shifter opening back an additional 2", going to need to patch it up better after the H55 swap ;-). That and adjusting the H-N-L linkage got me going, I also cleaned up and painted the shifter I straitened.

Just finishing up, she'll be at the Roundup ;-). No time for pics, hopefully some good ones out on the trails -

Cheers!

Good to hear the emergency flange fitted, I was kind of bracing for another shoe to fall.

sounds all too familiar. i cut the tunnel forward for the 4spd with the 40/55 top cover, then patched that and cut back farther for the 60 top cover, now i'm goin got have to patch that and change the top cover again for the ranger unit.

Great to meet you and see the pig at the Round Up. She's a great rig and it was awesome to see you wheeling her.

And congrats on the award!

Had a great time out at the LSLC Roundup in Katemcy, won the "People's Choice" award for the coolest rig ;-) Here are a few pics (didn't get any great ones):

Tucker,

Your wagon looks good on the rocks. How did it do, any problems?

I can't wait for T-shirt weather.

They didnt show up. Here they are though.

Pig did ok out there and i didn't have any issues, definitely need to work on the gearing cause 3:73s suck for crawling :( Going to re-evaluate after the H55 with the lower 1st gear and most likely go to 4:11s. Been a long time since I wheeled open-open, got her wheels spinning though ;-)

Forgot to add, Lance from IPOR hooked me up with one of these :flipoff2:

Having a buddy water jet out the center section (it's double plated 1/4" steel) for my 2" receiver then it's off to powder coat. Should I continue the silver or just go semi-gloss black?

Tucker

I'd go with silver to match the front. Any idea how much it weighs?

Tucker, stick with Silver. You running a 4 inch spring under? How did it do on Rocks.

Thanks Bob.
I'm running 2.5" OME springs off a 70 series, she flexed great out on the rocks other than being top heavy like all pigs. Wanting to address the gearing like I said and will put at least a rear locker in her in the future.

The bumper is seriously HD, it's all 1/4" steel that is double plated in the center and has 1/2 shackle eyes. I'd say it's easily 75-100lbs -

Tucker

Rear bumper powder coated to match the front gets my vote. It won't show the scrapes when you grind her against the rocks again next year.

match the front mate!
