fog lights on a 45LV?

I have a set on order from the dealer here in Guatemala. We'll see if anything shows up in a month or two from Japan.

I'm really pleased with these lights -they ooze quality!

Here's the part number for the bracket (fog lamp): 81481-60010

I tried to get the OEM fog lamp loom, but that is "production canceled" at the Japan end. The wire color is black with red stripe for the lamps.

The fog lamp switch is also obsolete from Japan, though I am trying to get one out of Australia.

try MOT in Japan for the fog light switch, he has some that are OEM and will work.

this came as part of a fog light kit, all I wanted was the switch and bracket

Mot has the switches ordered again.

I think the switch may look too modern for an LV? What say you guys?

It may well be that those switches (he's found 2 styles) are for 67 (matches headlight switch in my 67 parts book)-early 70s and then later 70s-80s trucks.

I can't recall coming across a picture of a fog light switch for early 60s vehicles, but I seem to remember mention of a rotary headlight switch variation that had a fog light setting. Haven't seen one live though.

Anyone?

LV/40 fog light wiring suggestions

Hey all,

Does anyone know the correct way to wire up these lights within a stock harness? I saw IDave's post inquiring but could not find a response.

Are you guys wiring up a separate circuit with a relay running to the battery or using the stock harness?

I know these are tough to come by but does anyone have a pair of the light brackets kicking around?

Thanks

Check with Mot, he had some light brackets. Have not wired mine up yet.

Got my lights!! I'll give the brackets a go now. Anyone have a number for the switch for a 45LV?

I don't know either but I got this set up coming from MOT. Thanks for posting Landpimp. And for the fog lamp bracket, I will be calling Al as soon as I can collect enough jingles.

Yep ordered my brackets and switch from MOT a little bit ago. Cannot wait. Had my dealer do a search for every single part number for any 4X cruiser fog switch and he came up with no stock anywhere. I'm pretty sure Mot is the only source currently on this. Thanks Landpimp for the help.

So does anyone have a pic of how they would be installed on 4x with a PTO?
