I’m hoping I can find the parts in the stash but it’s can’t recall what the rear window channel consisted of?

Doesn’t Slocruisers rear sill only protect the glass from connecting against body, without the channel?

I had some converse with Chris on his 1st crusty Pig 🐷! Guy was a high $ Ford Stang restorer that f***ed him over! Started work with all the 🐂💩 promises and just stopped and disappeared! Ass 🐒🐵 dunno can't confirm. Check his thread 🧐🤔😉.
Won’t find it in his thread. Even with everything going to crap around him he wouldn't disparage the fella.

Did little investigating and tried to reset window in drivers door without any luck.

Seems like if I was able to pull window up all the way I can get it set in the channels. Lots of play in the window mechanism and window binds up 4-5”s from being all the way down. In brief time I was playing around it appears that it is getting caught up between track and door mechanism.

I’ve got to think Chris has all the parts to repair it but I don’t get those parts until Friday. I was hoping to drive it some more today but we finally have some rain!

Anyone share how many gallons the stock tank is? This looks like stock gas tank?

No help on either window but yeah that appears to be a factory tank

Isn't a stock tank 23 gals. ? Can't remember anymore.
Some reason and I have zero evidence for my thoughts I thought it was less.

Hood has pretty good play in it, gonna figure out how to get it snug again.

I need to find rear bumper! The two short pipes in back aren’t doing it for me. Also want to pull front bumper clean and straighten it up, then spray it.

Wife working on getting insured and obtaining tag. Hopefully I can get windows addressed in the next couple week, if I can round up appropriate rubber!

Looks like 21.7 for the 76. Just got me curious after half tank and I put 13 gallons in but who knows how accurate the gauge is??

I must’ve been thinking FJ40, but I swear I never pumped anywhere close to 20 gallons into mine🤷🏻‍♂️

You would have if you filled it up to the cap heading out of Moab to Canyonlands. I think the plumbing kicks the fill off prematurely most times.

Got out some rubbing compound, wife and I curious how much she would polish up. Only did a few areas and we were pleasantly surprised. This weekend hopefully I can find time to tackle most of her.

Wipers worked Sunday but no windshield wiper fluid. So I took it upon myself to buy some fluid only to find out no hose to the nozzle on hood which led me to identify there is no reservoir at all. Which led to some wires just hanging out in only area where I could see a reservoir would be.

So it raises the question where is the typical location for washer fluid?

I’ve mentioned how the hood has more play than I’d like and I need to get it secured better when closed. Does this look correct? I know it’s hard to determine much from the pic but anyone have any idears

To top off my fine evening I dug into some things the wife loaded in back seat of the truck.

I hope it goes to a 55??

The hood catch looks good. You should be able to screw the plunger that goes into the hood catch down the hood further. That should tighten the hood down some.
Thanks Mike, I will take closer look tomorrow.

Sucks, I don't know where any of the books for the Land cruisers are. I need to research the rear tailgate to figure out the window seals
