Here’s the description from Cruiser Outfitters. Maybe someone can chime in with the low-down.

Hey Guys,

My low gear is 4:1 and the high gear does have a 10% reduction, which I didn't know at the time of purchase, assumed it was an overdrive. Anyway, I have 4:11 gears, 5 speed overdrive transmission and 33" tires with the 10% reduction = it does great all around! 🤷‍♂️ I guess a guy could get better highway speed with a different setup, but she does 60 just fine and RPMs never go above @ 2700.

4.11s?

4.10 is GM and 4.11 is ford. They have a slight difference in number of teeth and the ratios comes out a little different.

It looks like your hi would 1.1 to 1.

My pig will have about the same OD as it had with the 700r4 and with 4.10, 35 in tires I did 2000 rpm at 70.

So the idea from here was to pile a bunch of weight on top of the frame to mimic the full weight and check shackle angles, diff angles, and castor.
A fully dressed tub with interior would be what, 2,000 lbs? A 2F is about 750, but the LS is somewhere around 500 - 550. NV4500 with split case is probably around 250. Front bumper with winch - 200?
Rear bumper with tire, jerry can, high-lift? 350?
Front clip with hood - 200?

3,500 - 4,000 would you say?
How the heck to pile 4,000 lbs on a frame? Cover it with plywood and dump a few loader buckets of dirt?🤷🏻‍♂️
This might be a pain 🤦🏻‍♂️

I've always called them 4:11s, but you Toyota freaks like 4:10s. :) I switched out the 3:70 gears when I put in the ARBs. Don't ask, I already gave away the 3:70s.

My pig with the sbc and my roll cage and heavy bumpers is a turkey dinner under 5k. The LS will drop me a few hundred pounds so say 4800. I'd try to weigh your frame and shoot for 4500 to 4800. You have added a lot of steel to your frame.

Only 60! Believe it or not we actually did get some sandbags ready one year in anticipation of 7” of rain falling on top of 7’ of snow. Didn’t end up happening though and we ended up dumping out the contents in the kids sandbox.

Good idea though 🤔
