Epic build, as in looonggg. Kind of like War and Peace, with as many dull parts in the middle.:flipoff2:
 
It would appear there is supposed to be a freeze plug in the split case just above the out put shaft.

It also would appear I do not have said plug installed. At least it is at the top where it will be easy to get to. :bang: :flush:

shifter shaft bore caps...is it leaking? more of a welch plug IIRC...

Oh, yeah. It sure is leaking. I stuck my finger deep in there an seem to have found more than plug. :lol:

I bet I could get a plastic plug at Ace Hardware and shove it in there. I did not notice a pass thru there when I put it together.

I would think it would be very difficult if not dangerous, to stick your finger in that hole while driving down the road,...:eek:

just jam some rubber stoppers in those holes till you can drive in the plugs...

That is the plan. It is there at the top. I can't see a problem with that so long as I get to the permanent fix eventually.

use grey gear oil RTV on the stoppers...
