FJ40 OEM wheel powder coating RAL codes

Any ideas what color FJCO uses on their grey wheels? I like grey and black and this seems like a nice in between.

I feel like in some of their photos they look darker than they actually are depending on the color of the vehicle. In real life they match the rest of the OEM grey on my truck perfectly. Sorry, I don’t know the exact color.

This thread was helpful when I was trying to decide what color to refinish my late year FJ40 wheels.

The 2 colors I've seen mentioned are RAL 9010 and RAL 1013. I decided on RAL 9010.

Not a RAL code, but I just had local powder coater refinish my FJ40 15" steel rims. I went there with the idea of either using RAL 7037, 7040 or 7042, but the owner compared one of the Prismatic Powders colors, Crest Grey, and it looked identical to the color of my existing rims (under the hubcap, where it was not faded or rusted). Very happy with the results.

I pulled RAL 7036 from posts in this thread. Happy with the way they turned out. These are off my 1977 FJ55.

I too went with RAL 7036... very pleased with the outcome. This was a GREAT thread for helping with the decision... I thought I'd add a few photos for the next guy looking for options.

I picked RAL 7043. It is as close as I can find to the bracket off of my roll bar which has the original paint. I compounded and buffed the bracket and sample.
