I just re-read this. If you are in need of an exhaust system, we are also working on a 2.5" exhaust, from header to tailpipe, also in stainless.
This would include muffler and fixtures to attach to factory hangers.

We have exactly one header installed and "out in the wild". As part of this install we opted to put a new exhaust on the test mule. We thought about this a little and wondered if there would be any demand for exhaust.

I realize at this point that all anyone wants to see is pictures. I am in contact with the owner of the test 40 to see how the system is functioning and see if they would be willing to share their impressions so far.

I stand corrected, there are 2 headers out in the wild, one of which is mated up with a prototype of the exhaust system that we would offer.
The first header that we installed is very close to the final production piece, we made a few slight tweaks for better fit.

I am hoping we see some reviews from these 2 folks fairly soon!!!

I for one would be very interested in a complete exhaust kit. Looking forward to future updates. Keep up the great work fellas.
Thank you! I will go back to my header list and add you for an exhaust system as well
I should have already been on your list for a header for our 1970 40 series. Now I would like for you to please put me down for the full exhaust kit.
Thanks again for all that you do.
Heck yeah, I will update you for header + exhaust
In for a couple exhaust kits.
I will update you for QTY 2 exhaust systems
Same, just one for me though.

@PabloCruise Would they tuck in above the skid plate?
Great question!!! We did design the exhaust to go over/above the skid plate.I learned that lesson after I crushed my factory exhaust - LOL
I will update you for header + exhaust.

Post 183, I'm already in for a header for a 77 2F and would be interested in the rest of the exhaust system as well.

Currently on the list for a header.................please add me to the list for an exhaust system. 1977 FJ40.

Howdy, I currently have you down for 2 headers and 1 exhaust. One of the headers I believe is for a 2F Pig, yes?
Please LMK if I am off here...

As the saying goes, "All good things are worth waiting for." My 40 was the fortunate recipient of one of the headers "in the wild" as it was used during the design process to assure everything was built correctly and fit perfectly. I was able to see first hand how much effort went into these! My rotted out exhaust ended up being a gift to us all, since Jim decided to build an entire exhaust to go with the header. My '77 doesn't just run better, but it sounds amazing! I have already put it in storage but will record a video of how great the sound is ASAP and post it up. In the meantime, we all love pics here, so here they are! I will post up header pics first and then the exhaust system in the following posts :)

I should mention that my skid plate was cut and BFH-ed prior to this to fit the exhaust above it. You would have to alter your skid plate to install and hopefully you will spend a little more time accomplishing that than my PO did!

So, the only modification is the skid plate just has to get notched in the front and back for clearance to run the exhaust above and the tailpipe moves to the left side. Looks great, hope this happens soon!
