Both sets of tires are blue labels, right? What's the longest single road distance you've put on them? What's the minimum you have to air them down to for them to really work good?
Yes both are blue labels. I have only a few miles driven on the 37 blue labels. On the 35 blue labels Ive driven them all over the place. Road distance in a single drive the most ive done is 8 hours with speed varying mostly between 50 and 85mph, 50mph was going up the mountain passes on I70. 12psi they start working good. The lower the psi the better they work. Lowest Ive gone is 5 psi. They do flat spot if they sit for a bit and take a mile or 2 for that to work out.

Thanks.

No problem. I have found myself extremely frustrated with tire reviews. Its very hard to choose a good tire. Nobody does actual head to head comparisons-as in taking the same vehicle, on the same rock slab climb, so a actual comparison can be made. So I just asked the every man challenge guys what their opinion was since they aren't allowed to run non dot tires(stickies). Although they won't give input on street manners of a tire, just offroad performance.

Thanks. If I keep the 37s I'll have to trim the flares a little for them to fit at full stuff.
I like the 37s, but I like the old wheels better.

What kind of fender flares are you running? Are you stretched wheelbase in the rear with cut fenders? Mines stretched about 2” and I just cut the rear fenders this past week. Need to find some new flares to run.

They are bushwacker flares. My axle in the rear is pushed back 4". The whole opening has been moved back a few inches. It's not just a extended cutout of the factory opening. 4plus products makes a sweet steel fender flare, but they are expensive if I recall.

Very nice. I was thinking about doing the cut the same way you mentioned, but ran out of time before our next big ride.

Do you know a part number for the bushwacker flares or what kind of truck they are made for?

New wheels n tires are really growing on me but I may sell them. My 40 needs some other significant work so additional somewhat not so needed mods may need to be put off. Got some new rear poly bushings, so measured for those. In addition their was a 3ur in the shop. They are huge. I measured the width from edge of one head to the other-30"!

Looks like you need some bumps back there.

Upgraded my rear bump stops. Also replaced the saginaw box. Found some cracks around the saginaw hole I made when I was a teenager so I welded them up and welded on a reinforcement plate. Installed a red head 4.5 turn box. Its drilled for ram assist but plugged off for now...

Looking good! Nice work.

Beautiful scenery!! I was out in Denver a couple weeks ago for my uncles funeral. I was hoping that I would have had more time, I was going to message you to see if you were around. But, unfortunately, I spent a few days getting his old Chryslers running so my aunt can get them listed for sale. Next time I go visit her I will message you ahead of time, I would like to check out your rig in person.

Cool sounds good let me know man. Sorry to hear of your loss. Nice that you helped your aunt.

Well I've decided to stick with my 35s. So if anyone is interested, the 37" krawlers will be in classifieds. I have 5 wheels and tires, and 2 extra tires. So 7 tires total. Wheels are 17x8 with 2.25" of back spacing.
