I’ve still got the briefcase. It made the journey back to our old house in Kyle, TX after roundup. It’s now with the 40 at our new house in Marble Falls, TX. (Had a big move to get through.)

My thinking was it would be a good excuse to take the 40 to meet and hand off the briefcase at Hidden Falls Adventure Park (now right down the road from me).

Obligatory pics of me and @POTATO LAUNCHER at Roundup doing the handoff.

That’s Baton-Briefcase #2… I don’t know much about the history of that case. But Mesa man and I have Baton-Briefcase #1.
There is also at least one Baton-Tool Box, there might be two… so there should be 3-4 batons running around between our 40s.

Happy Adventure on the Trail!

That's the one that I started up in Washington State with the hopes of it making it to the four corners of the Continental US. I took it to Cape Flattery and passed it on. It went to Baja. It's on the Cross Country Expedition Part Deux thread. Nice to see if it makes it.

Breaker Breaker one niner…
So the tentative plan with the original briefcase number one is to take it Ouray Colorado to the solid axle summit eight and hand it off to @LAZ and his FJ40 where he will take it back to California and send it North!🤞🏼:steer: :bounce2:

Can we get a confirmation on that good buddy?! :rimshot:

Cool, if the original makes it to Washington State I'm in, we handled the red tool box the first time around and sent it back east.

@KennyBob If any interest in it making its way South, I’m good for a meet up. I’m south of San Antonio.

Possibly. Although that’s a lot of highway in the old girl.

We could split the difference, on a day when temps are <100 degrees. I don’t mind even going a little further your way as long as it’s through the hill country.
I think we can make something happen. What’s between us, Blanco?

Blanco or Lukenbach both work for me. We can move this to a private channel to work out the logistics though.

Outside of PMs I’m not real sure how to set up a private channel. I think Lukenbach would be a cool place to meet and hang out, particularly if we can grab a few spots up front. I may make a trip out of it and stay a couple days in Fredericksburg.

Sorry, meant to send you a PM.
