I don't know if it's just me (and it's certainly not a big deal) but I'm seeing the light output as being less than the original bulbs. The color of these leds is nice. Certainly not a deal breaker, but would have preferred a little brighter. The low power consumption is worth it.

Hmm, the ones I installed from superbrightleds are, in fact, super bright.

I wonder sometimes if specs/LEDs change in products without notation. No way to know maybe. I would agree that there are definitely brighter lights to be had. Initially I put brighter lights in, but found them too bright.

The good news is that it's pretty inexpensive to experiment with similar LEDs. Even if you double the power consumption to 2 watts per light, that's still only 20% the consumption of the OEM lights at10 watts per.

If you find LEDs you like better, be sure and post. Others might like them too.

Sounds like crappy bulbs, because most aftermarket 194s are much brighter than the stock bulb.

There is also such a thing as too bright. If I'm driving at night, I don't want to be blinded by sudden super-brightness. Part of what I like about the bulbs I found was that they weren't overly bright.

I do think the design should have included four lights in front though, so you could double it when desired like the second row.

Just installed all of these except the 3rd row. Thanks @Markuson for the link and tips. I just ordered the 5050-48 from Amazon for the 3rd row. Is this LED a plug and play install like the others? I am not sure how it fits in the 3rd row housing. Also, does the plastic cover just pop off the housing on the 3rd row like the others? Thanks :)

Third row pops open with a flat-head screwdriver... The bulb socket is very short, though, and I have to grind the ends of the "bulb" bracket a bit. Very tight fit.

thanks @Markuson! Just what I was looking for on the led bulbs! I think I am going to go for the bright 5050-48 to light up the cargo area but the warm leds the rest of the way. One thing I did in my LX was put a red LED (thanks @pfran42!) up front in the passenger socket so if i wanted to keep a little more night vision i could turn that on instead of the bright LED in the driver socket. not sure now much difference it really makes since the dash is well lit and you are looking at the headlamp light... but it made me feel tacticool at least. would these work if i wanted to do the same thing in my 200?

Howdy! @Markuson thank you for this. Bubba looks fantastic! Any tips on accessing the second row overheads which are contained in the overhead entertainment console? thanks much!

Thanks!
Bubba's been getting a great workout between Moab, and here in Breck. :)

Second row lights...
-Mine just popped open with a bit of a twist from a flat-head screwdriver. I'm an '08...so perhaps it's slightly different if you are a '13+. Not sure...but most other interior lights pop open similarly on mine...

On 09 LX570 there is another light in the cargo area, it is not overhead but on the passenger side near the jack storage compartment. It is very similar to the size of the overhead cargo/3rd row light but it is not the same. I cannot find this bulb size listed anywhere. Any ideas?
