any pics of the trollhole style windows?....

This is a Trollhole top. Note it's a photochop of the original top. But represents the windows very well.

I like the 2 larger style windows like you have in the linked pic. Can u order the top this way?

I'd rather not get to many options as it will start to get real confusing to people. I already have two more versions coming out. One is made of a PVC material similar to what are offered on Jeeps with no fading issues. And one will be the crown jewel a THC top that uses no twists except on the front windshield. Rest uses the existing hardtop mounting holes, shock cord webbing to hold the top on tight in the rear and magnets attached to fiberglass battens to keep the sides closed. No more straps to tighten and undo when you want to get in. No more holes to drill. But both of those styles will be over $1200.

I also have to get 43 and 45 tops figured out. Including the pickup cab;)

Dusters, Bikini's, Bimini, 40 & 45 bed covers, Seat covers made out of the Duck Canvas, roll bar pads, winch covers, trail tops . The list will go on and on. But for right now I want to work on the process and get it perfected before we move into more exciting things.

Let me know when a troopy top is available, I will buy one! I know Jim did some? Thanks for doing this!!

I like how you did this to the twist locks on the rail. Is it aluminum? Should you cut off the pointy ends of the twist locks? AR

That was my solution to not wanting to drill into the tub. Yes it was aluminum, and if you want to cut off the ends of the twist locks it would keep from snagging anything, I just haven't yet.

I'm digging the neodymium magnet idea on the side flaps. I'm trying to come up with a method to adapt the rear flap so it won't take a 1/2 hour to open the rear flap.

I wanted so wanted to do nylon buckles for the back. Problem is that you would have to attach one side around the footman loops. And that would flap around if you wanted to roll the windows up. But now that I think about it you could just unstrap them if you wanted to roll the windows up. Having the nylon buckles would give you the ability to open the back in a few seconds. Heck you could just add extra strapping for the bottom portions that fasten to the footman loops and the buckles and anyone could have their cake and eat it too.

I have been visualizing the bungee cord idea you've mentioned here and in the past.

My thought is attaching some single finger style drawer pulls on the tailgate and running the bungee through the strapping (with the buckles up, fully tightened). Then just stretch the bungee to the hooks zig zag style. The only issue I see is the potential for the back to bunch up, but the only way to know is to try it out.

Can you build me that cloned FJ45 top that I inquired about awhile back? I can re-send the pictures with the dimentions as needed. Thanks, Dave.

Put me first in line for a PVC 43 top with the big "Trollhole" windows! I can be your test guinea pig.

Sounds good. Let me get them through a half dozen tops first and then we will start on yours. I'm going to need the tub length measurements. From the edge of the bows to the rear.

Marshall any chance on running the D rings on the inside of the top? Roll the windows on the inside and strap?

Anything is possible. ;)

Subscribed. I've been watching OCD's debacle for two years saving my pennies for this new and improved THC top. Looks overbuilt with Factory look. Nice job in replicating this top.

Since its a Marine style top there is there any weather proofing that needs to be done?
