You are going to love the SC. This whole thread makes me question my decision not to do a full rebuild and bore.

Any gas mileage improvement or drop? Are you running 91 octane?

Whats the plan for the trans upgrade?

You mean you didn't upgrade. Will all that chedda you threw at your build :flipoff2:

I've only ever used 91 since day one I bought it in 97 :)

As for mileage...

First tank doesn't count. Nothing has even begun to seat. By the looks of it I should be able to get between 275 and 300.

So the wifey let me know that the oil change happened at 600 miles. Fresh dino and 21004 and enough for the Blackstone report. Another few weeks and the S/C can go on!

BTW I will be going with LANDTANK's Intercooler design. I've been sending him some parts of my S/C setup and I really like the direction its going. I liked the other air-to-air offering but my wife will divorce me if I put another hole into her hood. :P

FirstToy has a pretty sexy water/air intercooler for his supercharger. Have you checked it out yet?

Sure did. His is completely custom and looks like there are only two in existence. I needed something a little more...available :P

For those that want immediate gratification and don't want to open a PDF in Acrobat...

My next oil change looks like it will be next week when I hit 1500 miles on the rebuild.

Interesting; the Havoline 10W-40 seems to have low zinc and phosphorus (ZDDP) levels??

Ok so the truck has been running hot for the past week and I kinda chalked it up to the 90deg days. Nope turns out I have a freaking bad radiator cap!!! I don't think this is OEM. I need to go pick up a new one. If you notice in the picture, the cap is releasing and spraying onto the top of the radiator. Gggrrrr!!!!

That would also explain why I have been loosing an ounce or so of water every few days. Ugh.
