There are few less s***ty jobs than hauling a trailer full of bikes around the country for demo days. I think that's what influencers did before tick tock.

Beno are you going on a snow ride in today?

No ride today. Busy, busy at work. Heading to Oracle on Friday for the 24Hours of Old Pueblo.

I did a professional fitting on a size cycle and it was really helpful, learned a lot... mainly that all my bikes are too big and that my posture sucks. So, the fleet will be changing up a bunch this year.

Wait 'til you see what it's getting :)

Planning on a set of Nobl TR32's + DT350's, Factory step cast 34, and then XT everything. Set up single speed of course :)

Sweet! Interested to hear what you think of the tight rear triangle/super slack front combo
What's crazy is that 66.5* HTA isn't all that slack by todays standards. @OGBeno rode the trails I'll be on mainly, it's going to be real happy

Been full of something that hasn't helped with breathing, so have spent my downtime (in between trying get to rid of mother- and sister-in-law due to the local airport being closed and some storms in Sydney disrupting the little domestic flights), wishfully bike shopping... right down to size comparisons between my current bike (2016 Scott Scale 960 XL with an upgraded fork) and what I am thinking of getting to replace/supplement it (Brother Cycles Big Bro, L or XL) - which looks like it will take the RockShox Reba that is fitted to the Scott now instead of the flexi fork the Scott came with as stock. Return it to stock, and sell it may be the plan for the Scott; yes, I liked riding it but I never took to it in the same way I did with the gravel bike, and it's starting to get close to needing money throwing at it (or more use).

Starting to look at the options for transporting little one here, she's only 3 months old so have plenty of time to build a bike that will work with a shotgun seat on the top tube (2 years plus). But as my mountain bike doesn't have rack mounts I will have to find a rear seat that works, although I have just scored a Burley D'lite trailer for AU$200 which will be good in the interim once she can support her head with a helmet on (it can be used as a stroller, so we'll probably do that first to get her familiar with it).

Was a worthwhile exercise because I've worked out it probably won't do what I want it to do (but may be a better bike all up) in terms of geometry/posture without some bar tweaks, and that I am really in between sizes on lots of frames...

Snowed the last 4 miles on our ride last weekend. So no photos.
These are photos of a ride 2 weeks ago.
Classic SL valley inversion.
First is looking west across the valley from Wasatch Blvd - look at all that gunk in the air.
Second is looking south - around the bend on the left is the entrance to Big Cottonwood Canyon which goes to Solitude and Brighton ski resorts.
