As far as you know they are original ... In the last 20 years that I have owned my truck has had 4 different sets of rims ... And this doesn't include the po ... I relieved the truck with only 1 original rim... And that was painted black

I have also painted the rims (different colors) 5or 6 different times ... To see if you even have the original rims flip them over ... On the inside it is date stamped with month and year

March 78 all of them. The inside is black.

My original rim is 9/74 and build is 10/74

Your rims are 3 months after the build ... Replacement rims come black ... Then you paint the outside any color you want :meh:

A guy once had a complete set of 12/74 rims I could have gotten cheap... But liked my 16" splits better :)

I don't plan on putting that into my memory bank. It's full :moon:

Dave

A little anomaly with the trans top cover. Once all the grunge was removed, I discovered that the pins for the s*** lever had been replaced with ordinary roll pins, as you can see in the photo. No way to stake those. I can get a pin repair kit from SOR, which works real good, but leaves two awkward bulges on the outside for intalling the lower shift boot, or I can just put on a good used cover, no boot issues.

Think about it.
