Marshall, count me in with the boys...3 peeps.

Hello, I met last week with a couple of guys from your club and was asking about what kind of wheeling was around and if I might join in on a run. They mentioned this run and gave me a link to it.

So I'm curious if me and my son might join in for this weekend. We live North of Boston MA near NH and it would be a 16Hour drive for us. As it turns out this weekend falls after a week of school vacation so we can leave Thursday and make it there for Friday noon. I'll need to put in for vacation time but that shouldn't be an issue if I do it soon.

I'm more than willing to pay dues and other fees that would come with joining in and would prefer to stay in the cabin but am willing to camp as well.

Thanks

Marshall,

My Dad and I will be coming with our 55. Probably camp. Where's the campground? Directions from Ashville? Can't wait!

Sounds great Stu looking forward to seeing ya'll again.

We will get info out to members in the next few weeks.

your enthusiasm impressive! that's quite a drive for a weekend trip. We'd be happy to have you guys along.

As a family we did a cross country trip when the truck was just a week old to us. My son really took to the open road thing and exploring new places. He'll be 15 in March and at a good age to get more adventurous with our trips.

you just made me and my son's day. Not knowing the area and how you have this setup is the camping along the trail or is there a camp ground we stay at. Any info would be appreciated.

Rick, camping on this trip will be along the trail; that is one of the reasons why this trip is so popular with our members. Instead of your traditional ride the trails during the day and return to a set camping area at night; we will stay out on the trails the whole weekend camping in different locations each night. That is why we call it our "expedition" trip or atleast it is the closest we can get to an expedition around here :D.

Looking forward to meeting you and your son; you guys get my respect for the haul you are taking to get here

Thanks for the help. I thought this was what I was told but after reading this thread I thought maybe i got it wrong.

Is there a central meeting place? I know I need to plan on being there at Noon.

BTW, just got back from a trip to the emergency room. Seems I've started to pass a kidney stone. Imagine that going on out on the trails.

I should be fine in a day or two.

You can drive my 62, it will help it pass:)

Rick!! You mean I finally get to meet you?

Awesome!

I'm out. The wife scheduled a visit to the hospital so I know where to take her and who to talk to when I'm freaking out 'cause she's in labor. I tried calling shenanigans when she told me it would be impossible to reschedule. What-ev's. :meh: I'll make a run eventually.

NICE!!! good to hear you can make it. We meet on a hwy roadside park so road directions are pretty decent but someone will likely chime in with the digits. bring warm clothes and maybe shoot for 11, dont know where in the planning stages we are, but we usually try to leave at 11 and stagger out by noon. :) sounds like there will be two groups again but trail riders need to be there on time and ready to roll and prepared to stay w/ the group until we meet up w/ the other group if the schedules allow.

lookin forward to this one as always
