Drove the rig home to Utah yesterday and what a difference. The power is awesome, I never went above 3500 rpm in the mountains. It was beautiful to just go, really brings the 80 up to par with the speed of a modern car. Thank you @Cruisers and Co for the top notch work and amazing attention to detail. Johny and his team do great work, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Awesome. Can’t wait for CARB approval. This and an 8/10speed conversion would be epic. Has anyone towed?

I'm running a Wits' turbo, re-geared 4.88' and 37"s, 8,200lbs. It tows my turtleback trailer great. there is so much torque from that engine.

It's winter though but any noticeable temp?

Glad you’re loving it! Thanks for bringing the rig in and letting us have the opportunity to turbocharge it!

Any noteable news here? Progress report?
Let’s just say I did a ton of 3D scanning yesterday and CAD’ing last night so I can get quotes/final pricing started for the production run. All hard parts and bracketry are complete 😎

Who wants one? Going to make a 2 pod also! Need to make a few tweaks but for a first go I’d say it’s pretty good!

Are you going to color coordinate these, Johnny? Gray/tan, that kind of thing?
We will! This was a prototype and white filament was cheap. We will see what greys/tans match better or paint if we don’t like the filament colors
