Amazon turbo log was on sale. Im going to be making a some mods to it so I didnt want to spend a bunch on one of the name brand ones.
Waiting on VS to put their wastegates on sale and I’ll order the turbo/wastegate.

Turbo’s here. It’s a VS cast wheel 78/75 but i choose the smaller turbine housing hoping for a little faster spool up. Also easier to package 3” exhaust then 4”, still going to be tricky to do cleanly though
It’s also going to be going on my $2k Challenge 4.8/Th400 BMW temporarily, currently have the same turbo on that but with the bigger 1.25ar turbine housing. That turbo needs to go back to another project so this one will be a placeholder until i decide my next plans for the car

Picked up another cool item for cheap over the weekend that may make its way into the truck one day.
I also actually finally got around to putting the new rear driveshaft and a new battery in over the weekend so I am back in my Cruiser. I still need to wire up the new headlights to be fully DD-able again. Its due for front shocks and I am really wanting to re do the rear shock mounts.
In my little free time I have mostly just been messing with the $2000 2JZ mustang build, and my 71 FJ40 rock crawler build.
been working hard to clear out some space in here so I can actually use the back corner that I planned on being “Matt’s Personal project Corner”

Yeah, it’s a ZF 8HP-70. Out of a 2016 2WD Ram.
I actually need the 4wd version to work with the Axis adapter. But this one was cheap enough to just buy to check out and get a feel for. I also want to see how the Hellcat converter compares dimensionally and if it will fit.
Maybe I’ll try to convert this one to 4WD, I swore I’d quit doing stuff like that though.
