Picked up a November 81 Truckin' magazine with the Trekker article I posted above in it. There were so many parts for mini trucks in that magazine...TONS of cool stuff.

Have you tried taking the carpets out and pressure washing them yet? I recently did that in my 80 and it was kinda nasty from all the stuff that came out. The carpet almost looks brand new now. If you have stains, try using “Tuff Stuff”. It’s works wonders.

The carpet is 40 years old....faded and missing in a couple of spots. Needs new. It's cheap enough and will look super nice. Good idea on the pressure washer...I have a heated pressure washer that would probably be perfect.

Gotcha. We plan on doing vinyl floor at some point, but the pressure washing will buy us a few more years at least.

And one more magazine with a Trekker article was found......Mini-Truck from August 81. This magazine has some particularly good trucks in it.....the light blue Datsun on the cover is epic

This was a pretty good find. This Trekker is interesting.....wish I knew what color the interior was. Maybe brown vinyl? Never seen one with brown. I think the stripes are the brown/charcoal/gold(copper...whatever it was). Kind of makes sense it would go with the brown interior. Dark carpet too.

I like the instructions at the bottom of the page on how to order. The good old days.

Brought the Trekker out for some fun in the sun......we installed lifts in the storage warehouse so had to do some moving around. Love this little truck. Hopefully ACC has some bulk carpet available soon so I can finish the interior over the summer.
