You know if you care to just leave that in place for looks, you can pick up some very inexpensive Bluetooth amps ( under $30 ) and stick in under the dash or glovebox and just use the phone for a Bluetooth source….they are about the size of a package of cigarettes

Is this typical set up for the rear spare undercarriage, primarily the pipe? Crawling around the pigs thinking today and realized Clyde’s new frame doesn’t have the pipe to guide the rod to lower spare?

Don’t have to have one and we could store inside although Kim brought up the swing out bumper!!!

Either way it opens up options for longer range tank!

Either way I’m going to end up blowing the $5000 budget!

I’m sure Lee from the frame shop had his version he was dying to reveal to the uppers in the frame department but ultimately sat on his ideas knowing that there wasn’t any financial incentives for the hourlies for on the fly concept designs.
Plus all his welds were pretty boogery too.

Need Bonnie home, know Steve working away but once she comes home I’m taking these brand new Alcan springs off the 69 frame. I installed them weeks before I took it to the body shop long ago.

There is no rhyme or reasoning there Kevin. It’s a matter of tastes between my father in law and his much younger significant other (we think may or may not be in picture as of last couple weeks).

Delorean parked behind that and I’m not sure it runs.

I’m trying to be nice here when explaining the differences.

If you’re ever down this way I’m happy to show you the shop. Pretty cool collection of Corvettes. FIL came to farm today which he rarely ever does so he isnt dragging a ball a chain at the moment.

Brake booster adapter purchased. Slight concerned with air breather with thickness of the adapter plate. Guess we will see after it arrives in few days. Some reason work isn't wanting to cooperate with my cruiser schedule today.

Have spent most of my morning watching and learning about auto wiring. Through some reassuring recommendations from those that have done it, rewiring Clyde using the existing wires seems like the best way to go. I would like to update wires and fuse block so I dug into You Tube.

Electrical projects seems like a daunting task and it's probably cause I never took time to know the basics. So that's what I set out to learn today, I found what I think are two very good sources if anyone like me has same trepidation of doing any of this.

I found the video's from The Car Care Nut is very good. He is primarily a Toyota mechanic and does great job explaining the basics.


I also found "Superfastmatt" channel to be good when explaining things such as needed wires, fuse blocks methods to do things correctly.


Just an FYI as I slowly dive into this fun venture.
