Thanx!

Sounds very interesting.

Can't wait to hear the whole Enchilada!

Guys I can't make the dyno tomorrow. The boys at the shop will be gone Thurs-Mon to the race track (they race Lotus'). I have to reschedule the final run for next week. I'm going to shoot for Tuesday to get this all wrapped up.

Heres a quick vid of the abuse I put my Land Cruiser through to get this stuff done for you.

Very nice!

Thanx for the Red Meat!

any updates?

Looking forward to the final numbers! RobRed, thanks for all your perseverance in pulling this together!

Done Done Done... for now. I will be testing the EMS mid pipes and alternate exhaust tip in May but the stock vs. DT vs. EMS is completed. I will be posting and updating in the top of the thread.

The files I have on disk are a mix of formats. This means that EMS is SFD format and can be plotted on the Superflow reader software. The DT and Stock are in .CSV which means I will have to manually plot them in Excel. I dont mind converting the SFD files and doing pretty excel graphs but time is challenging the next fow days....

Check the top of the thread for results.

Nice...looking forward to hearing your impressions. 8% is pretty decent, especially if someone has a ticking manifold. I like the fact that it counteracts the loss of power when going to bigger tires, etc. and helps bring a modified rig back to somewhat stockish in terms of power. I have DT headers...now I just need to decide if I can live with the higher exhaust sound by adding on the EMS midpipes and exhaust. Rob, thanks for doing this! I know it is much appreciated!

4/29/2013 update: I have attached results charts to posts 2 and 3. I will be posting additional commentary both here and my blog related to impressions, installation, etc.

Awesome! Thanx!

Can wait to hear your driving impressions of how the numbers feel on the Butt Dyno.

Any thoughts of doing a DT vs EMS header test?

EMS did well and I would have expected that based on the larger system. DT held it's own relative to the stock system so If you own a DT I wouldn't feel too bad at all.

As soon as I can I will post up some driving impressions etc - some of this may surprise you.

That's a big ask - only because the install is lengthy and EMS hasn't offered. I am expecting some mid pipes for testing from EMS so we will be covering that in a separate thread.

Rob,
I can send you a set of the headers once they're ready to ship if you are up for testing them. You've done a lot of work already for the community by going out of your way to do this testing. So I think that will be something you'll have to say yes or no to if you have the time to do the testing.
