Waiting for this test eagerly so that I place orders for EMS system. The sound is magnificent. Checked it on YouTube .
Can't wait for the results. i was told yesterday by my tech, that I am about to lose my exhaust form excessive rust. The cats are about completely gone.
That's just the CATs though, right?
I thought the exhaust system was 400 series SS?

No.
All of the numbers, graphs and details will be published once both systems are tested and evaluated. This is the agreement that I have with the vendors and it makes the most sense for context.
What I can say is the DT and EMS systems are significantly lighter than stock as well as significantly louder. I can also say there is an improvement in drivability with a catback system in place.
I should be complete with dyno testing within a couple weeks and be able to publish results.
Sandroad said:Thanks for the "teaser" sound clip on the DT system. Based on that, and the clip on the original thread for the EMS cat-back, I'll be ordering the OEM system tomorrow. My muffler blew out on a 350 miles trip yesterday, so I can't wait for further test results. Both after-market systems sound louder than stock and since I really like and appreciate the quietness of the Land Cruiser, I'm going factory. By the way, with a blown muffler, the Land Cruiser is not quiet. Now I just have to find the best price.
