Wanted to figure out lead times, costs, etc.
Sorry for the delay, ok, lead time, I would plan on about a month. The sliders are done, but the mounting system is being refined from the laser, and that will take at least a couple weeks. Cost, it all depends on what material you want

.120 HREW (good for the general rub up on something)
.120 DOM (what I use, much better at being "dent resistant", think better at the pointy rock with a small surface area and hard impact)
.187 DOM (not going to break it... if you do, Bud will give you new sliders on him, does weigh about 20 lbs more)
Strait or kicker will cost the same. For fill plates would be about $95 for a partial fill and about $170 for a full fill. Design doesn't change cost (smooth, diamond, dimple die up or down)
So I would plan on $650-950 depending on materials, fill plates, and powder coating.

Also, I've seen a lot of questions come into the BudBuilt website about shipping. I'm programing shipping for the new site and I can PM anyone with an estimate when I ensure it's all accurate, please just give me a little bit of time for it.

I emailed Bud's email account but haven't heard back from him. Is there an official waiting list we could put our name on?

Got yea on it for sliders.

Pricing. Just for you guys, depending on how much of the website I get done in the next couple weeks, we might just wait and launch 200 Series stuff on the new site. But we want to get Breckenridge guys their stuff in time, so no one is left unprotected.

Buying Individual Pieces (3/16" & 1/8" USA steel)
Front (not available in 1/8" Lite Steel) & Engine Armor: $399 (with oil drain plug & filter armored doors)
Transmission Armor: $229
Transfer Case Armor & Crossmember: $299
Fuel Tank Armor (integrates with transfer case armor): $379

Armor Systems:
Stage 1: Same "front and engine 2 pieces design" as mentioned above, but with spacers to work with the OEM transmission shield: $399
Stage 2: Front, Engine, and Transmission Armor: $578, save $50
Stage 3: Front, Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case Armor with Steel Reinforced Crossmember: $828, save $100
Stage 4: Front, Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, Fuel Tank with Steel Reinforced Crossmember: $1147, save $160

With the new Laser cutting machine running, Bud will be finding out new prices for stainless steel and aluminum. It used to be about $500 more on for full skids, but because of how good and how much volume it can produce, it will be cheaper, and he's just going to pass the saving on.

100% bolt on, not drilling or welding Step Sliders/Rock Sliders/Ultimate Rock Sliders, Lower Shock Mount Armor, and Rear Lower Control Arm-Frame Mount Side Armor pricing is coming soon.

Timeline: Products are looking ready in 3 weeks, and a few days more in you want powder coating.

Material for me personally, as you guys know I wheel hard, but I'm going to "test" just my front and fuel armor in aluminum. Since I don't talk about anything I haven't personally seen, I figured I need to personal test aluminum on Rubicon level trails. Really the only reason I'm mentioning this is to let you know if you "mix and match" materials, you will still get combination reduced pricing.

Wait.... Sliders?
Yep, check out post #46 and 47 on page 3.

It uses a very different mounting system that allow 6 legs to be used versus the normal 3-4. Plus Bud's rear leg is so much further back than other options making deflection minimal. That with no drilling at all.

Pricing. Just for you guys
Are these the raw prices? Definitely interested in the whole she bang...

per PM I'm in for stage 4. Email sent to Jackie
Assuming Insane Diego is San Diego, maybe us SD or SoCal guys can set up a "group buy" to save on freight. I have a commercial address with forklift :D

Are these confirmed to work for 2016+ models with no extra modification?

Yes, those where the unpainted prices, now they do come sanded and prepped for paint, just need a quick wipe down if you just want to spray paint them.

For shipping, funny you mentioned that, we've working on getting all the shipping plugged into the new site lately, so let me look at what can be done. But I'll say right now, yes, if you have a loading dock, it takes a nice chunk off of shipping.

I have my real (paying) job, but I work on the new website at night and drive 5 hours to Buds on the weekends to mess with the new high clearance bumper and help get things ready for the Appalachian Toyota Roundup in a couple months.

That's not to get sympathy, but I'm pretty transparent with 200 forum, so if some of you guys who want to try and join products together want to bear with me, it might get a little weird with invoices through Jackie, but let me work through some special stuff just for the 200 forum, try and squeeze as many dollars off as we can. No garentuees, but yea, let me try some stuff with shipping.

While Bud hasn't bolted them to a 16+ yet, the part numbers for 2008-2017 splash shields, from the front to the fuel tank, are all the same.

So I don't want to speak for BudBuilt as say you're good, but from Rob's (me) perspective, if it's the same splash shield and the same number of bolts in the same locations, regardless of years, then it's good to go. I'll talk to Bud and see if he only wants to send one '16+ out to make sure first.

Is there pricing, or should I PM/ Email?

when do you think you'll have some prototype pics of the high clearance bumper? Sounds interesting. definitely not something I could do anytime soon, but very interesting nevertheless.

Probably in a month, the bumper for the most part figured out. The real thing left to decide is what to do about the plastic bumper cover, because the "bulges" under the tail lights are sticking about 3" past the rear bumper! It is very unique and actually solves the big bottom issue of the 200, instead of just replacing the plastic bumper cover with metal.

Que "pure Imagination"

Hoping to have it done right after the Breckenridge guys get their armor. Just like the skids, we'll beat the hell out of it on a rock course to make sure it is ready of sale. If you can't tell, I'm kinda excited. I LIVE FOR THIS STUFF!!! Bud is like Willy Wonka, and I'm just Charlie in the Chocolate Factory.

@MrCWineMan, I'll get slider pricing up really soon, like this week. Bud just needs to figure up one last fabrication cost.

I may have missed it, but do you have the weights of the skids listed anywhere?

Any Houston guys want to combine shipping/freight on our orders to save a few bucks?? @RS6tofj80 @BTUMAN and whoever else in the area?

Hey richard - I've got the ARB's currently so good there ( until I really beat them up)

we need a GTG in July...

Likewise please put me on the Breckenridge-attending list for Stage 4 - I should already be on "the list" but this is definitely going to give a lot of peace of mind. :) Thanks!
