Had a moment and decide to clean up the rear bench mounts. They're the nicest things in the truck now. I'm not sure I deserve it.

Do you have the little rubber bumpers for them?

you will learn like I have taught the other. Black. Never enough black.

On a whim I threw some satin black on the inner parts of the light buckets. That seems to add the little bit of contrast the front needed to bring it together. I like it better now.

Also, are the headlight buckets oriented correctly?

@Blastservices spray paint. Lots of primer and a lot of patience.

I think they call that Guy Liner. The bezel looks good. It is supposed to have the high point on the inside, next to the grill.

What are your plans for the mechanical side of things?

Silver is std and factory looking and I’m sold on it. Even though mine is dark gray.
The mechanicals are something to focus on for sure. These trucks can drive like total garbage if they aren’t sorted out and they can drive super low blood pressure ish when they are. @cruisermatt being that close to you, don’t hesitate to reach out for resources from him.

Get it running on its own first. Then drive it to see what else is broken/breaks. Mostly keep it simple.

Oh if I get stuck or don't want to do it, I'm sure @cruisermatt will be getting a visit from me. 😁

There's still a bunch it needs. I'm really procrastinating on mechanical fixes until the weather cools off and it stops raining as much.

Started the Sniper install and went to remove the air filter housing. The nut was seized on the #13 head stud. When I got it to budge, the stud moved and not the nut. After the stud broke loose from the block it seeped coolant. It's only coming from this stud and not the one behind it which also was studded and not bolted. I've been looking at diagrams and my previous engine experience thinks I'll be alright with a seal and retorque of the bolt. However I have very limited experience on early F engines and would like some input. What do you think, head gasket as well or just torque it compression/leak down and hope for the best?

(The stud is back in and the nut is off but the shank is too deep to properly torque. New head bolt(s) and gasket already on the way just in case.)
