SILVER Star
Yup it's a '71. There's not really a budget per se. Ive got an idea of what I want it to do/be l. When it gets to that point on the list, then maybe reassess.
Late '72/early '73?
Or '71, that's what I meant!

If it does all the above, your best bet is to drive her and listen. Then you will figure out what to do next!It runs, drives, stops. Now, what else to fix...
Word ^^^Modifying it other than stock will eat your budget rapidly. Get it running so good on cold start you can reach in and hit the key it fires right up. With no throttle and choke. Then start thinking/talking about lockers and EFI. Get your truck sorted and safe first. Good luck!
Oh wow, your came with oem spiders! Very nice. Most, mine included, had the dull oem wasps. Keep it original!
how did you get one to match the house color? Finally got the first coat of Penetrol on it. And knocked a few things off "The List."

Well at least mine does not match, green. YikesHonestly never noticed that. Now I can't unsee it.
Florida has a few 55’s… looks like you are in deep!
I have a '71 named Bucky that is the same color as yours. Don't see many original tan ones. Keep up the good work!
Tons of pics here: Builds - 1971 FJ55, "Bucky" - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/1971-fj55-bucky.1081608/Oh cool man! You got any pics of Bucky? I stalked you pics of your 60. That thing is sweet.
Didn't get to the window rubber today but have the cargo area and bench back the CLR/Penetrol treatment. It's night and day!
