If loving a split screen is wrong, I don't wanna be right. For reasons I am at a loss to explain, I am getting one of these. I picture Bonnie back in the desert from whence she came someday.

X2 wheres that snappy NOS Gold Cad Radiator cap w/ chain i heard all about on Instagram ?
It is a bit pre-mature to be talking radiators with Bonnie because I'm a ways from installing her motor. I do have what I think to be a period correct radiator and said snappy nicely zinced radiator cap from Vintage Toyota ( ;) ).

Compared to another Denso cap on Miss Kitty.

@77HesterSue, do pictures of things enroute count as new? New pics of the split windshield enroute from Team JB.

I started assembling the earliest tools long before I got this truck, but had given up on ever completing a tool roll this early. That changed today with the arrival of a kit from @dmamj.

Maruki hammer, 23 mm two piece lug wrench fit in the offset #3 loop. I had a blue clip and a needed sixth oval handled wrench. I'll still need an owner's manual, and saw for the first time an engine adjust kit.

So cool

These guys any good? Or anyone have recommendations for reliable folks?

'Soon' (in dog years) to be together, the split windshield from @TeamJB, (thanks Junaid!) and new rubber seals thanks to @andybudge's project in Oz.

Happily one piece of glass survived shipping.

Took some Bartender's Friend to the dash and like the results. Just realized I'm missing the locking pin.

The F.D knob had a PO replacement, but I have a cable-knob thread combination to get me back to stock. Here's a mockup.

Hats off to @Land Cruiser Junky for this shiny FJ40 bumper, the catalyst to my decision to attempt a frame off restoration. Getting the body off should make installation of a motor a bit easier. I've ordered a new sill from Real Steel. What color, what color???

That's what it was. I'm wondering what year spring green (T-1028) was introduced. Won't use a color that's not period correct.
