Has anyone run these on a 4" Slee lift? Just curious about clearance...BEFORE I order the slee 4" lift! I'm also curious about pricing for a group buy and shipping. Any discount for veterans (of 6th Street, Hippy Hollow or Barton Springs)? I'm in Kalifornia and a few guys out here have said they were interested as well.

Thanks!

We just put the OME "J" springs on the EMSPowered truck, and they tires clear fine. If you're doing any heavy articulating of the suspension during rock crawling there's one 3" spot where I'd recommend hammering in the sheet metal in the fender well, but for street driving the Slee 4" lift, OME "J" lift, or OME "heavy" lift will work fine.

Looks like we're all sold out of this batch, last set on the shelf is being picked up by a local tomorrow.

We have more being built and on the way, get your orders in!

One more pic as we close and call it a night at the shop. The EMSPowered 80-series is getting a lot of attention from the locals with the new wheel/tire setup. We think it is a perfect fit for the 80-series.

Am I the only person who saw the price and went !!
Cool idea, but damn!!!
Go EMS for being mad salesmen.:flipoff2:

Smaller market for an item means the individual item bears a higher percentage of the R&D costs. If we were jeepers, the price might be lower.

Why don't you call around locally and ask how much a 4" x 9" chunk of billet aluminum costs.

Then price out some stainless steel hardware, 16 bolts per spacer.

Then there's 14 lug nuts per.

You can also factor in at least 2 hours per spacer on a CNC machine.

Now multiply all this by 4, which makes a set.

I think these are a very cool item at a very reasonable price. I haven't seen anything else that comes close to the quality.

Also, if you go with military overstock wheels and tires, the first time your tires need to be replaced, the kit basically pays for itself compared to the cost of new 37" offroad tires.

Just my 2 cents I guess.

If it were a single seller making this for a niche crowd, certainly. But....
Bam!!: http://www.amazon.com/Wheel-Adapter-Lug-5-5-6-5/dp/B008KQINGE

Neither new, original, but certainly 2.5x the price for the landcruiser market.
There is the extra thickness for trying to offset the H1 wheels correctly, but damn!

It certainly is a good thing that no one is forcing you to buy them for more than you think they are worth.

Those are not hubcentric to the Land Cruiser hub. Those are not hubcentric to the HMMWV wheel. And they are far thinner (less aluminum, less cost), and they are made in china. And built with bottom of the barrel hardware.

The EMSPowered adapters are specifically engineered to fit the Land Cruiser hubcentric, to fit the HMMWV wheel hubcentric, and setup to be the correct offset to run either with or without fender flares (two sizes available), and they are made 100% in the USA from the USA made billet aluminum. And built with high strength ARP hardware.

If you want to buy the ones you posted, go for it, the wheel will not ride perfectly centered, and they are the wrong thickness. If you want a solution that is engineered to work PERFECTLY on the Land Cruiser, then purchase ours. If it's not in your budget, leave it stock.

Not hub centric either IIRC when it comes to Silverado wheels.

Edit: beat me to it lol

If I make it back to Austin this year I'm thinking I will swing by and pick up a set. This is an inexpensive solution to beadlocks. How will they fit with my 60 series lockout hubs?

I am not sure of the hub diameter on the 60 series or the offset required. But if you'd like a set for your 60 we can definitely look into it and build a set for the 60 series as well that fits just as perfect as our 80 series adapters.

I put 60 hubs on my 80 because of the lockright. I don't see why it wouldn't work but thought I would ask.

If that is the case then it would just be a matter if making the backspacing different. That would be easy.

Or just have the wheels stickout, better for off camber wheeling. ;-) lol

Actually if you are already running 60 hubs with 80 wheels, it would be the same using these adaptors and hummer wheels as your wheels are now what you changed hubs. So if you are happy now with how much sticks out it would be the same plus what ever the difference in tire width is.

I think I'm missing something. I removed the drive flange and put a lockout in its place. The location of where the wheel mounts didn't move. Never took the wheels off actually
