Is the temp a new issue? Have you had problems during the past summers?
No, this is new. Occasionally it would run a bit warm when i push it.
Thinking it's the compound setup.

Once it’s open a 160 would work the same as a 190. I don’t think it would help if your over 200.
I would hack up the hood once you find another one and see what that does.

Took off the hood and drove it to work. AC fully blasted, blowing really cold, ambient temps at 79* and it ran at 190* most of the way. At one point it got to 195* because i was pushing it.

We'll see how it does this afternoon when the ambient temps are 98*. Looking more like im getting louvers installed.

I made sure to park next to the jeep because the owner thinks the 4 inch lift makes it look huge.

Ever heard of Evans High Performance Waterless Coolant? I was thinking of going this route. Seems to have a lot better qualities compared to conventional coolant. Just my $0.02

Ok drove home in traffic and 100* weather. The temps held at 190 during traffic and slow movement but hit 205 when gunning it with the ac on full blast. I say I definitely need louvers. I might also look for a larger radiator since summer is only getting hotter.

I also found a small leak in my small turbo by the clamp when I hit the accelerator hard.

190 is usually how hot it used to run. Compounds making it run hotter now, at least I hope it's the compounds.

I like this look as well, but worried about random rain clouds.
