Looks like the compressor I bought is too large to conceal in the quater panel. Curious to see where it will end up. Should be picking it up tomorrow.

ARB compressor? I have my ARB in the engine bay of my CRD. On the 80 I have my Viair underneath along the crossmember above the rear axle.

I have mine close to the battery, but since I use it quite often, I'd like to move it, maybe under seat or rear quarter, or just bolted right to the rear of the quarter panel, in plain sight.
Not a problem to have it on the inner fender like now, but it sees a better life 'indoors' and draws cooler air than under the hood.

Short quick post. Picked up big red, lockers are in. The air compressor ended up fitting in the quarter panel after all. I still need to add the fittings for the air hose so I can pump my tires. Picked it up late in the day so the pictures are dark. Will tale better ones later. The best part is I can't engage the front locker without the rear and I can't engage the rear without the compressor.
I know I have to hide the sub woofer wiring and clean up a bit.

Would like to see better pics of how you mounted it in the rear quarter. Was thinking of putting mine in the same place. Haven't gotten it yet though.

Thanks. Looks like no one will be able to make the January trip to big bend and I'll be in Thailand in February.
Check out how Ron (@scrapdaddy) ran an external air line.

Here's the better pics for the compressor. I'm planning on using the hole for the rear windshield wiper fluid to have the air hose come out of it.
Best part is it's protected and concealed.
