I think I have mine figured out but I'm going to have to return these horns now.

Same as the ones I bought. I ended up putting the stock ones back in. Cleaned them up and adjusted the screw in the back and they sound much better than they did. Still having intermittent contact issues at the steering wheel even after I replaced the brass plunger.Plug and play on a GR Carolla too, well, one horn anyway.
