Plug in play on an 85 fj 60 just clarify? If that is your cruiser can you show me a pic of the plug please? All of the new horns that I can find including the ones I purchased only have one pin.
I think I have mine figured out but I'm going to have to return these horns now.

Stebel 'truck horn' on my 80. I don't have an endless-air setup so can't mount a locomotive airhorn to the roof like some people do. 8-)

Plug and Play in a 80, the new horns match the OEM horn connector in a 80

I went for the obnoxious alternative.

I put a Whelan electric air horn from a police car. It’s friggin loud!!

I did have to put in a Whelan control box that supports the horn, but it also comes with a dedicated public address feature. I can talk to guys outside the car, if I have a spotter.

I have admittedly used such features on a-hole drivers a few times. But it’s more just a fun feature.

Installed the control box where my CD changer was located in my LX450.

Same as the ones I bought. I ended up putting the stock ones back in. Cleaned them up and adjusted the screw in the back and they sound much better than they did. Still having intermittent contact issues at the steering wheel even after I replaced the brass plunger.
