Any ideas on possible production dates? Can we help somehow. I have purchased Ceika fronts and am considering their rear but there is no electric park brake. this would be better. Would a group pre order help at all?

Just want to make sure I get some prototype machined parts in to test for fitment, then figure out where to mount and wire the EPB controller. Hopefully all goes well. My tentative goal is to submit production run for all machined parts by end of year.
I've held off tallying up interest as this was mostly a part-time endeavor until recently, didn't want to over-promise and under-deliver. Seems like there's some minor interest so important for me to get numbers correct in doing a limited first batch. I'll DM you some details.

What is interesting about this is the inclusion of an e-brake for the rear axle.
I wonder if OEM calipers could be used to reduce cost, like the Porsche Brembos that were mentioned in another thread.

Since I have all the CAD modeling done already I may have plans to do an EPB retrofit for factory rear brakes(stock calipers and rotors) but this is much further down the line. More of trickle down feature to a more budget friendly option, but gotta sell through at least the first production run of this big brake kit

Should be easier on the wallet than the Wilwood Front and Rear for the 70 series platform while being significantly better and more of a small batch product catering to specific needs.
Need to get the prototype samples on the rig to make sure everything is within spec and no major changes to design is needed, but hoping to announce pricing before the new year.

I’m watching the thread. I have a HZJ73 which has similar/same rear brake as the 80s. I’m interested in the electronic parking brake, as my parking brake is a pain in the ass to work on. Combined with a semi-seized parking brake cable, and a parking brake that barely works, replacing it all with an electronic brake on the caliper seems like it might be something to do.
