I think many are also forgetting the modularity of the system, you can also clock the EPB wherever clearance allows.

The most common limitation will be the frame side track bar mount. Here's my 4" lift on 38's with 55mm bumpstop extension and Timbren 100 series LC bumpstop, fully flexed sitting on right side bump stop and left side fully drooped. Enough room for me to clock the EPB another 15 degrees up, which should give about 1.75-1.85" extra clearance from the ground. Total of 15"+ ground clearance for the EPB with my setup. ymmv

If you're on 40's and have even longer bumpstops, then that might even give you an extra 30 degrees or just over 3" of additional clearance.

Also don't forget I'm working on protection for the EPB for those that are concerned.

The thing that interests me in EPB is to be able to lock up one side at a time effectively using them as cutting breaks.
Talked about this in person with @lelandEOD While the control module doesn't allow for independent engagement, the actuators themselves are simply set up using reverse polarity. 2 wires on the EPB, power coming from one wire engages brakes, power from other wire disengages motor. So you can ditch the control module and wire things up yourself.

Adding to the late model OE caliper with built in actuator assembly, here's some measurements:

OE FZJ80 Rear caliper: 3" (Measuring from rotor face)
Wilwood electronic actuator(not complete assembly) likely sourced from OE manufacturers: 2.2"(3.4" including connector)

Let's make an assumption that the 24+ Tacoma caliper has has similar dimensions and the length being measured from rotor is 5.1"-6.3" depending on connector location of the electric actuator. Full Wilwood EPB assembly is more compact.

Here's why it can't be retrofit onto our stock disc brakes(not to scale):

13.5"x.81"(Wilwood rotor) 2 pc rotor with 0 offset. Using same updated design language on the front hats. I gotta say a 2pc rotor does look mighty fine.

Since Feb been in conversations with Adam @Notch (Back Bay Customs) about pairing his iBooster 80 series kit with our big brake system. For those that are unfamiliar he's known for the tailgate storage that is now being sold by Delta VS. He also does some really amazing vehicle restorations out in Maine!

We'll be a distributor of his iBooster kits. He's installed kits with Wilwood/Baer MC on several 80 series already and countless other platforms as they are now standard issue on all his builds. I think he's pretty much the defacto iBooster guru at this point. I'll be pairing them with Wilwood Compact Tandem MC and proportioning valve.

I'll likely install these on my rig next month when I'm all settled into the new place. These will be an option for our big brake system(likely also a la carte). Never been huge on the idea of hydroboost, mostly because until now everybody has just been introducing added stress onto the stock braking system that's 30+ years old. If brakes faded pretty easily before, what do people expect when you introduce significantly higher line pressure(clamping force, think... more heat)? iBooster paired with our brake system, I can get behind. Our brake system upgrade can handle the higher clamping loads/heat from increased line pressure. I had no signs of brake fade even after 25 min of stress testing. Mountain passes, towing, being worried about your brakes is a thing of the past.
