I’ve heard those boys down there in Norman got a kinky streak.
The best thing to come out of Stillwater was Ragweed!

The Maxxis Razrs weren't really a good choice for the winters here, while they might be a good choice for our brethren down south that cook whole hogs, use vinegar based sauces, and holler "Roll Tide and Go Dawgs", those tires SUCK out here in the winter. I've spun my 40 in a circle a time or two on snowpacked roads.
Speaking for the south, at least East TN…most people I knew ran KO2’s, and before that, KO1’s. The dirt is nothing but clay, and anything other than BFG AT’s would always turn to slicks with clay and a little bit of moisture.

I don’t know about any of that other stuff you mentioned…but at least you don’t get funny looks if you ask our waitresses if they have any sweet tea :flipoff2:

I’m currently living in north Alabama. I have run BFG AT exclusively on my 4x4’s. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I also don’t have any love for any sport.

Next tire choice is more than likely going to be BFG KO2s in a 33x10.5. They are severe snow rated. I've been running them on my Dodge for a while and my Tahoe, both without a complaint.

My own fault for not getting a winter rated tire.
You won’t be disappointed in the KO2s. I’m on my third set on my FJ Cruiser. It’s my daily and my trail rig. Snow, sand, rocks, mud…No complaints.

We use these at work when we have larger holes or on my own vehicles. It fills the hole and patches the inside. they work great. I have even used them on "off road only" tires in the sidewall.

Those look like an interesting option. I like how ita patch and plug all in one.

I have bfg ko on my 40 and they have been great. On my built Lexus they were terrible. I guess I got a bad set or something. fought balancing the whole time. I went back to Nitto on it and it smoothed out. Just my experience.

Like @matzell said. I second those patch/plugs. We have also patched some really big holes with them. They come is different sizes as well. You can get a pretty big one.

They have a special bit for reaming the hole to the size of the plug. But, I have used a drill bit of the correct size when needed. Otherwise you break off the plug when you pull them through. Just an fyi.

Regardless, winter is knocking, snow is starting to fly in the mountains this week, and those MTs suck in any kind of snow. I should just go ahead and drop some fat stacks for 5 new tires now before I get in a jam.

Because days like this are coming soon...

I have had good luck with General Grabbers in snow
