The plan is to have it back together by Saturday afternoon, then run over to a backcountry stream that is known to hold some decent fish. If I can get the lid sealed, primed, and painted.

It will be a great time to go camping for about 4 days. If the weather holds out.

Was going to redo my cap this year before putting the top back on but time got away from me.

I wish I had started a couple of weeks ago on it, now I'm trying to crunch as much as I can into a few days. It's doable, but I like having time to work on it peacefully.

I'm still planning to have it loaded and on the road to the mountains by Saturday evening.
 
While I'm redoing the gutter, I should really develop a better solution with the gutter clamps. They really gouge into the seam sealer causing it to fail prematurely. If I flipped a small piece of angle iron under the clamp on the top side, maybe it would help distribute the clamping force better and hopefully keep from cutting into the seam sealer.

I think the SEM comes in either gray or black, either way it's getting covered with paint so I'm happy.

The 3M seam sealer might cone in white, also the Dicor.
