It might be leave-no-trace? Kind of like asking a rancher, "how many cattle?" I used to pull the battery, so even the cellphone couldn't find the water, or me.

One amazing place. Tough fishing though.$3 Bridge on the Madison?
Thanks for the support! The only thing that I noticed that wouldn't quite fit was the spring for the pump arm, aside from that everything went together pretty well.
Overall it seems to be a pretty solid kit, the valves that come with the kit won't be used ony pump due to mine having the staked in valves. Aside from that it has everything necessary to do a complete repair.
thank you @red66toy I'd definitely make another purchase.

I'm sure if in NEEDED the spring to work I could make it work. Just spreading the arm open a fuzz would allow it to fit. Thanks for the support!Yeah we didn’t have the industrial purchasing power to have them tool a new spring for us. But thankfully all the critical and common wear and tear rebuild parts are on point.
Good to know that this is feasible to rebuild. I’ve got at least one of my old pumps on the shelf that needs to be rebuilt one day. Glad I kept them.Received a rebuild kit for my fuel pump from Cruiser Cult aka @red66toy today in the mail.

Hope you enjoyed reading through it!After having gone back to page 1, I'm finally caught up to page 135. Just wanted to say that being from Montana - thank you for adding those photos. I'm from Chinook, and often would drive with the family from Chinook to Whitefish. All along the pass between East Glacier and Columbia Falls was choice. Your photos remind me of those times.
We would be happy to host you in Gorda. There are some awesome places to see and fish here.I'm not just talking about Montana trips either, I've been lucky enough to take cool trips up through the New England region, to Maine, down to Georgia, tons of beaches along the way. The smokey mountains, Shenandoah, West Virginia, fished some top waters in Pennsylvania. Been all over the central rockies, spent 10 years exploring the high country in Colorado, including about half of the 14ers. Took a week this year to hit the Pacific coast, down to the redwoods.
Making plans now to go to the gulf coast next spring, somewhere around Corpus, and of course hammer every top 50 BBQ joint between the airport that I can!
It's all about the adventure.
I have an old Army buddy down in the Sargent area, we're still trying to figure out when and where we're going. I suggested South Padre Island for spring break when all the Texas college girls would be down there, not sure that was going to fly.....We would be happy to host you in Gorda. @Chungas Revenge hasn’t popped in at the mention of drunken spring breakers. He must have slipped into a well, maybe someone needs to go check.I have an old Army buddy down in the Sargent area, we're still trying to figure out when and where we're going. Realistically we don't want to be down there for spring break, maybe the week after but definitely not with a boatload of drunk college kids. (My oldest daughter is a high school senior)
Sounds like a good excuse to go buy a 9 or 10 weight saltwater setup!Depending on the weather, the speckled trout bite can be pretty good in the spring. Bring your fly rods for some real fun.
