Build AK Troopy

Haven’t done anything to the troopy yet, waiting on parts.
I did replace the two ground straps from the battery to the body and engine block. The ends were pretty corroded. Hopefully it will crank over easier.

Installed the passenger Scheelman seat. Someone in the past installed a nutsert for the inside rear bolt hole/nut for the single passenger seat mount, so the planted bracket didn’t line up with that hole/nut so I removed the sheet metal over the factory mount nut and installed the seat.

Installed the Mulgo Maxtrax holder/table. Not too hard to install. An extra set of hands helps a lot for drilling holes.
Hangs off the side more than I expected but didn’t really know what to expect since I’ve only seen these in pictures.

Kit comes with rivnuts but I wouldn’t recommend using them. Installing them cargo tracks down the sides and then installing these tables on the tracks would probably be the best way

Two nights at one of our favorite camping spots, small enough of a lake to kayak on and if the wind picks up not to difficult to get back to camp. Also there is an island with nesting birds to kayak around and see if there are any babies yet.

Looking good man! I forget about those origami kayaks until you post something with them- they seem pretty cool.
