Sweet! My only concern is the reservoir is right above the exhaust manifold.
I have no another space under the hood for reservoir.
The exhaust pipe will be wrapped with insulation.

The things you do with the resources you have and the things you create are amazing!

I understand that you make do with what you can get hold of. You must do LOAD of research or you live next to a salvage yard.

nicely built system - do you have IAT data before/after the install?

Not yet, it’s on delivery now. I mount one before turbocharger and second after intercooler.

I have not junkyard near. All I need I buy with very slow delivery to me.

I had previously planned to use an intercooler core from China, but I didn't really like their quality. Only parts from European cars remained available. therefore, I bought one from bmw n 63 designed for a power of about 220 horsepower. A core from a Mercedes 6.0L would be better, but it's hard to find

the whole assembly took me about a year and a half, I even specially bought myself a tig welding machine for this

Super work ! Very inspiring

You must play the game of pool a bit differently there if it involves a TIG welder! =)

I'm also very curious about IAT data and your overall impressions on the utility of this intercooler (was it worth the effort/cost?) since I also have the York air compressor and therefore an A2A intercooler is likely not a feasible option.

Loving this Build thread!

You posted on anothoer thread you are running an kinugawa upgraded turbo, are you still running it? Is it this model? Kinugawa Turbocharger TOYOTA 1HD-FTE 4.2L Land Cruiser 17201-17040 Upgrade 60-1 wheel - http://shopping.kinugawaturbo.com/kinugawaturbochargertoyota1hd-fte42llandcruiser17201-17040-1.aspx

How is it for low rpm spool and max boost? Looking at one for my engine.
We run this on another car

Ball bearing turbo spools very fast. Max boost 1.3 bar.
intercooled 1hd-ft runs very well up to 190 km/h

New alternator for my new engine.
Mitsubishi from Nissan on Toyota.
