The only thing more trick than that 1965 license plate would be if your birthday was in August 1969 !

She’s cleaning up rather nicely. I’m pleased at how solid the floor, cab and roof are.

So the 66 motor was locked, right? How’s the 65’s? You got at least one original seatbelt in that 65. Nice!

But those hub caps, they make a lot of noise when rocks get inside them. Pain to deal with when changing tires. So let me know when you tire of them and I’ll send you my addy.

How come no one listens to my advice? :grinpimp:

The compression is low in the ‘65.... I want to keep it numbers matching so, I’ll likley purchase JT Outfitters rebuild kit. ($699). Anyone out there ever bought this kit?

Nice hand primer fuel pump to boot. Those seat beats are easy to rebuild and hard to find. :)

I have one and a half seat belts... I need a male end.

One will show up, normally it's the female end with the buckle that end up being bad.

For the 45 guys; who offers rebuild kits for the F engine and SD40 carb??

Another teq question:
Do I need to buy the $70 shim kit to accompany the F rebuild kit? Thanks!

Shim kit ?
