Unfortunately after giving Marvel Mystery Oil a go, my motor is seized. I actually broke one of the claws off of the crank shaft. The MMO sat in the engine for almost two weeks. Just didn't happen.

Now I have do decide on possibly a different motor. I've tossed around taking on an OM617 swap. Might be best to just go with a healthy 2F and 4sp. I'll make a call soon and keep everyone posted!

You get an "A" for effort that is for sure....by far the longest breaker bar I've ever seen!! Wonder how many ft/lbs you were throwing down there :grinpimp:

There are plenty of those parts available Daniel. You might also consider 70 series axels in your search.

I should've bought 70 series stuff while in Germany. I wasn't as readily available as I thought it would have been. The Netherlands was a different story but very far from where I was stationed.

I have a 3fe, 4 speed, with a bunch of new parts (clutch,pressure plate) sitting on a 40 frame that I need to sell.

I also have a 2f for sale and a 1F that needs new bearings, but you can have it for free.

hi if your wanting to just get it going and driving those old f motors very easy to play with. just adult sized mecharno, grab a online manual and i would take head off and see which is siezed (can be hard to tell) and get her going again
