Patiently awaiting the body lift thread.
If anyone hasn’t seen it yet…

Thanks for the cross post. I’ve been on travel since Thursday and just kept reloading this thread looking for an update.

Hope I’m not late to the party. Provided commitment in other thread.

MTKID made me do it.

Square 1.5” body lift and sensor levels adjusted.

37x12.5, you already know the tire.

Tundra front ready to install. Gears and lockers on the way.

Any interest in another build thread? Going for a clean and simple Highlander to carry my dog in to the grocery store.

RustyHinge, can you drop us your wheel/tire details and then post a couple more pics. Your rig looks fantastic! I’d love to see some of the wheel offset and how much poke you got and such.

Also, how maxed are your sensors? I’m talking with MTKid about BL. I’d like to give him some more certain details about my build so he can help me plan it. Right now I’m all over the place with tire sizes and such. Your rig is about perfect. 😍 🫦🫵🏻

I need to stay out of this thread. My grocery getting mom car 200 does not need 37s .

I do not need 37s

I do not need 37s

But I want 37s and damn they look perfect on them.

It doesn’t need 37’s? Who gave you this information?

My wallet 🤣
Wallet don’t lie. Except for when his friends CC and Debit Card come to play. Basterds!

But in all honesty, what MTKid and his crew are doing for the 200, it’s putting 35’s and even 37’s into the picture. Not only in the picture but in a fiscally responsible way (no longer need to gut your entire suspension system, lift the truck 3-4”, throw away all AHC components, laser weld un’obtainium on to the front end).

And aside, him and his crew are handling the risks as well. They seem to trial everything (dare I say, test everything “out in the field”) beforehand.

MTKod already contacting me and working thru my specifics for my build. This is huge for me since I’m not a heavy rock crawler anymore. He’s getting down and dirty on how to apply his kit to “all” of us who Cruise the Land. Thats a very rare trait for a vendor.

His kits are a tremendous value on price alone. And then you factor the intel and trial testing and build specific customization.

I don’t see how you don’t buy form this guy and his team.

But ole Mr Wallet does hold the trump card so no judgments here from me. I know all too well as In my house it’s Mr Wallet and Mrs Wifey too. I got TWO bosses!

I Agree. They have done great work with the body Lift kit. And if I stepped to 37s it would be a no brainer.

I’m currently on 35s and it does everything I need it to, however those 35 will need replaced next year and 37s aren’t much more. It’s just all the things that go with 37s 🤣

A great fabricator I know once reminded me (before he cut the back half of my 4runner frame off…) that “it’s only metal!”

There’s a special kind of joy in that first cut! Also, added benefit of not being upset when you get a little too close to rocks later…

If I didn’t already have bumpers and sliders installed which are gapped for no body lift I’d be all over this. And 37s. Totally agreed though, if you’re thinking about 37s this is the way

You can sell me all your bumpers and everything, and when you do the body lift.

I have been small all my life, and love the 32s on my truck
:)

I think about this a lot. I have found that used bumper skins on eBay are cheap so in theory could just re-cut. But then again you have a relatively rare color.

Yadada I don’t need 37s

Yeah I've been thinking the same. Also been considering swapping out rear bumper after body lift too.

Wish their was a slider option the accommodates AHC and body lift...

Couldn’t agree more. Absolutely love seeing an enthusiast recognize a need and make a solution available to the rest of the community at an extremely fair price, with fantastic customer service.

He even followed up with me about some stuff completely unrelated to the BL. Solid guy is an understatement.

For what it’s worth here are some 37” tires on the 1” BL with some custom fab work and cutting for clearance purposes.

Do you have more details on the front bumper chop + rails? Photos of attachment points and layout?

Right? This rig looks sooo good.

Do you have details of the rear bumper? Like build pics or something?
