The difference a day makes. Left the mule "out" intending a leisurely drive early today. woke up to 3" or so of snow. Guess its a good time to check the front and rear heaters..

Spring time....:bounce:

Not sure you could handle the heat...

I dare say.... I blame it on a portly stature, hairy countenance and Neanderthal umbrage (among other things) to the heat.

Excuses, excuses...

Hard to believe I awoke to 27 degrees two morning ago... But I was at 6600', about 20 miles due north of here (2400' here).

Sorry Dude, best I can do is offer June, mebbee September, and a pristine copy of Tiny Tim's Greatest Hits:confused:

I caught up on Danny's thread first... and now I'm caught up on yours. And again, I've learned a thing or two about sheep. Lots of expertise on that subject among Cruiserheads it would appear. Around these parts they seem to prefer goats.

Quick question (and something to keep my post "tech")... Where'd you fetch those beautiful spare tire bushing? You said from Alex but I'm afraid I'm still learning everyone's first name around here.

There does seem to be a natural inclination among the masses of "Mud"..

REF: Bushings. Danny steered you in the right direction. Any additional advice he may have given you regarding the stock market, real-estate transactions, or "blown seals" should be considered suspect.

Thanks! I shoulda been able to figure that one out... I have his door bushings!

Unfortunately, I've got the newer tube style spare holes so no dice on the bushings.

And, based on your input, I'll politely decline Danny's offer to get in on the ground floor of a lucrative sheep farm venture in Las Vegas.

Coming back from a short sabbatical. Boxing up the carb and sending it over to Jim for a much needed re-hab.

Mule seems to be fit for duty. Short shake-down cruises (15-20 miles) so far. Wiring harness is sorted and functioning, horn is properly ground and operating. This summer and early fall I'll need to "have a look see" at the T-case (seals), parking brake (functions but needs some tweaking), sill plate, Clean knuckles and a punch list of small things that need some attention as well.

Work on the hunting camp and mowing pasture/plots will take up most of the weekend space. So, the mule will be relegated to evening fishing jaunts and Ice Cream at the local DQ until later in the season.

If things work out I'll add the Safari rack (Gobi) mid summer......
