the only sense Jeff has... :shifty:

Now, it is rumored that the good folks of WV are imbibed with (where's this going?) a certain extraordinary sense and uncanny ability to spot a copious pile of fertilizer without actually stepping in it first. In fact, based on the last election results, the sacred son's of the Mountain State displayed an uncanny ability to spot a "pile" long before the aroma permeated the rest of the country..;)

I like your sence of humor :)

Much obliged my friend..It usually takes me a very long time to think up these spontaneous and impromptu quips...

I think it comes from his West Virginian fatalistic view of life.

I reckon being fatalistic is just "our" way of being too shiftless to accept the unavoidable.

Bazinga!

Added a little padding and some genuine, imitation man-made leather to the removable portion of the OE console. I need to pick up some wood screws for the "lid" and attach the Con-Ferr section.

Started the wind-shield washer plumbing. I found an aftermarket nozzle (black) to match the flat black hood. I'll see how it holds up under duress..

Last effort of the evening was assembling the drivers side hub...Straight forward with no surprises. Found several good "Vids" on the esoteric approach to transcendental hub assembly. Checked everything manually. Turned and engaged the clutch gear (per the vids) without issue or catastrophic failure. I'll add the gaskets on Thursday and see if I can't get the mule to take to the change....Temperamental beast as of late...

While tooling through my AOR this morning, I happened upon an interesting sight. Sticking out of a tractor shed was, what I think, an early 70's (70-73ish) TLC. I slowed down to have a "look see" , but I was driving a "guvement" vehicle and the wary eyed owner gave me the "you must be a revenuer" look. I marked the location with a 8 digit and kept moving. I may take the Mule on a maiden run up the mountain just to say howdy. Least I can do seeing how were neighbors.... :)

Don't get too nosey, I have been told about 3 FJ40s sitting in a barn over in Morgan County, I am going to talk one of the *locals* that I work with to do some recon for me.

I swear I can smell it!!

There have been a "whole lotta' comments" about the mule, ranging from "Mechanical abomination, diamond plated scourge and an oozing wound on the face of automotive ingenuity".. But, never one quite like your olfactory salute to my inability to do "it" justice.
Musta' been that "lanolin" bath (Fluid Film) I gave it.

Thanks for the thumbs up!!!

I am going to talk one of the *locals* that I work with to do some recon for me.

I'm willing to act as a guide and interpreter for the admission price and a cold beverage....

I'm fluent in the native dialect and can speak passable English should the need arise...

That could be very useful, blending in with the locals will be an important part of the mission. The language barrier may give me away!

@Coolerman

Mark - Started laying the rear harness this AM...So far very straight forward plug and play!!!

What is the recommended routing for the fog light harness to the pull switch?

Thanks!!

Hmm , I think that's the one I'm running , I'll have to look this weekend when it warms up - mine is mounted up under the dash along with all the auxilary wiring/fuse block . I just ran a completely separate harness for the 7-wire trailer plug (utility trailer has brakes) to the rear of the truck , installed a 4/7 combo plug behind the driver's bumperette to protect it . I've had an odd issue lately that the brake lights (led) on the trailer are lighting dim any time the truck is hooked to that trailer - suspect it's a bleed over issue in the converter since my pickup doesn't do it , only the Cruiser ...
