Tru dat. The oil from Smitty’s is Old school, no frills, no instagram shait, test of time place. Meat is the only center piece. The new money flava of the day places owners eat at Smitty’s. If you like synthetic oil, go to the Burnt Bean (if you can get in).

This is like talking about engine oil…

Yup…On my brisket, viscosity counts. YMMV.

Here’s a video clip of CD and I at Louie Mueller’s counter :

Don’t. Touch. The. Tray.

That said, I proudly display a beef rib from there in my living room and will definitely be back! 🤤

The beef rib there is nothing to scoff at, delicious is putting it mildly.

Also, the brisket… best ever however you’ve got to know how to order it but apparently you. touched. the. tray. So no soup for you.

That’s definitely the response you’ll get at Kreuz Market if you ask for bbq sauce

Or worse, getting stinkfoot from those python boots - "your stinkfoot put the hurt on my nose"

I’ll just hang around until you found I didn’t know nothing.

And moving to Montana soon.

And also begs the most important question, " has she abused the sausage patty?"

Joe's garage stuff, you know, and a Stratocaster with a whammy bar

But, is her stereo four-way? And does have a fuming incense censer?

Presumably, there’s some head scratchen’ going on over on that “serious” thread..So, I’m just gonna pull this over here on my strictly commercial tech thread IOT discuss the conceptual continuity of four wheeling apparel. Is that a real poncho or a sears poncho you wore to SAS 6?

When I woke up this AM I heard myself say “Self you’re going to paint the jack today”. I recognized my voice and I was wearing my underwear so I’m 100% certain it was me. Well, apparently I didn’t listen, all proposed painting plans started out slow then just fizzled out altogether.

Instead, I opted to head out into the county and mow one last time. It was just too nice a day.

Future painting: Going to go with the Cub Cadet Yellow as a place to start making changes. Seems to match the discontinued “Marigold” that’s on there now.

So, barring any last minute agricultural missions, I’ll without question hit this tomorrow for sure or next week at the latest. 🤣

Decided to go high tech on this project.

1st coat of EDIT: Tractor Supply finest Cub Cadet Yellow laid down under a maple tree. Seems only fitting that 2.0 has at least one proper rattle can enameled reminder of 1.0 stowed away in the cab.

Hope you had your python boots on out there.

See there it is, can’t turn it off now. :smokin:

A neighbor asked me to assess a vintage travel trailer his dad bought (I restored aluminum travel trailers for a spell) and looking through the cabinets I stumbled upon this:

Who says they don’t grow on trees…. Ripe and ready for picking

The king of small time driveway projects.

WW bottle is in for an update. NLA from uncle Yota. Will be adding an aftermarket version and IOT see how it goes. This will go in the “stash” for now.

Can you provide the link to that aftermarket ww bottle please? I ordered an OEM one from Matt at vintageteqparts but I have zero hope of ever receiving it. So I need a backup plan and that one looks pretty good. Sorry for the hijack BTW.

I almost pulled that trigger too. I did a lot of business with Matt, it was all great until it wasn’t. I sincerely hope that what ever valley of the shadow he’s going through is a short one.

WW bottle is/was an eBay offering. There are several listed. I looked for the least expensive with the best vendor feedback/rating. Vendors name is JeepyJeeper, that has to be a winner 😁.

“highjacking” this thread only improves the clientele.

US stock out of Cali, had it in about a week.

Freshly painted and recuperating nicely. Hit the rods one last time for good measure. I’ll stow them later once I figure out the MUD approved official Toyota jack rod orientation placement sequence.

Shameless plug for the EDIT: Tractor SUPPLY CC Yellow, Tractor, Truck and Implement Paint.

Thread below was a big help cause I didn’t know “Jack”.
